Still in a bit of shock on my end, like a lot of you.

I mean, it seems like just yesterday he was lounging in that easy-chair, happily swiping away, showing off the iPad.

His cancer was terminal.

It all goes to show one thing: HEALTH is EVERYTHING. You have your health, you can do anything - spend more time with family, with your kids, more sunsets to watch and sunrises to wake up to, more of the experiences so many of us take for granted.

So all tech aside, all professional development aside, take care of your health. Eat clean, exercise, detoxify yourself when you can, and work on your mental and emotional health as well. We only have this one life and every day is a gift. Some people are not going to wake up to see the next one.

May God bless you Mr Steve Jobs... A true Genius and Legend! :(

RIP Steve, you will be greatly missed.

Can anyone use the Apple logo and photoshop it with a black strip across it like they do for the loss of firefighters and police?

Apple without Steve will be a great loss. The man was truly a visionary and did wonderful things to the advancement of Apple. Although I never met him, he has touched my life and I will miss him. Farewell my friend.:( I wish for all his friends, the peace of the Lord be upon them.

EDIT: Don't know what happened to the post I quoted.

He did show Steve some compassion, but in an honest way. Why make him out to be something he wasn't when the real man was good enough to remember?

Steve, may you take over the Board in the next life...you never stopped believing in your dream and vision, and the world is a better place. Godspeed, God bless.

Pioneer, Genius, Legend

He changed my(our) life.

I watched the keynote with the first gen aluminum imac and ipods, and went out and spent several grand on the best change in my life to date.

RIP, Steve Jobs.

Goodbye My Friend

Click here for video of song

Oh we never know where life will take us
I know it's just a ride on the wheel
And we never know when death will shake us
And we wonder how it will feel

So goodbye my friend
I know I'll never see you again
But the time together through all the years
Will take away these tears
It's okay now
Goodbye my friend

I've seen a lot things that make me crazy
And I guess I held on to you
We could've run away and left well maybe
But it wasn't time and we both knew

So goodbye my friend
I know I'll never see you again
But the love you gave me through all the years
Will take away these tears
I'm okay now
Goodbye my friend

Life's so fragile and love's so pure
We can't hold on but we try
We watch how quickly it disappears
And we never know why

But I'm okay now
Goodbye my friend
You can go now
Goodbye my friend

I find it disgraceful when people have a change of heart when someone dies.

Otherwise, I just wish that what revolved around you and your company did not bring out the worst qualities in people so often.

All jokes aside, this event happening is going to drive me into getting the iPhone 4S now. As far as iPhone 4S bashings go, I believe this will drive sales out the roof in my opinion. Stuff like that doesn't matter at a time like this though. Rest in Peace Steve Jobs--the Benjamin Franklin of our time. Very sad news.
