Cannot express how incredibly sad I am.

Cannot express how incredibly sad I am.

An entrepreneur, a visionary, a man who changed the world. All of this has been used to describe Steve, but the meaning he had to each of us is unique. For me, he was a true icon and inspiration. Steve Jobs and his leadership at Apple truly has been a world contribution. His leadership and genius brought technology to the forefront of development and his eye for perfection ensured the quality of Apple's products. From Disney's Pixar, to the computer mouse, and many things in between, Steve's mark on the world will be only a shadow of his existence. Like so many greats before him, his life was too short in comparison of all he gave us, and all he had left to give.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Though I never had the chance to meet him, I feel as if I knew a small part of the man that co-founded Apple Inc.

RIP Steven P. Jobs, you will be remembered and sorely missed.

Wow, sad to see such an influential person go. He was a great inventor and visionary. He will be greatly missed.

iPhone 5

The first ever customer of iPhone 5 is now in heaven. Steve handed it to God. Rest in Peace Steve. We will miss you. :(:apple:

iPhone history 2007

Such a short time ago.
So long ago . . .

The day after the only keynote that he did not attend as the new CEO took the helm.... Steve was an amazing man.

RIP Steve. Your absence will be felt deeply by those who knew you personally and broadly by all the rest of us who only knew you indirectly through your work.

You've inspired me personally since the day I first was introduced to an Apple ][ and every day I design something I think to myself "How would Steve Jobs want it done?".

Thanks for everything!

B

Even though I no longer use any Apple products, I am sadden by his passing. His showmanship, creativity, and ability to put a spell on the masses know no bounds.

He ushered in the age of the smartphone which we see today.

My condolences.

RIP Steve.
God bless your family and may you have internal peace. I could not believe this when I heard it. I am in total dismay. I just recently added a MacBook Air to my collections and hope to continue to add quality Apple products.

His Passion Changed Us

Thanks Steve for changing our lives. The products you created through the passion that drove your innovation benefitted us tremendously: my first Mac, my first iPod, my beloved iPhone, and now my iPad. My kids grew up using iMacs, iBooks, MacBooks, listening to ipods and now using iPads to make their lives more enjoyable. That innovation and joy is your fine legacy. May you rest in peace, and on behalf of myself and my family, I thank you for all that you did to enrich our lives.

My first Apple product was the Apple IIC.

From then I have truly thought Steve Jobs was a visionary and a hero. It is a sad day indeed when a legend, a hero, a visionary leaves the world.

Heartfelt condolences to Steve's Family, Friends and the people at Apple.

This news does help explain the subdued "mood" at the iPhone 4S intro yesterday. It did not seem as "up" as one would expect. It must have been hard for Tim, Phill and Scott to be up there.

It was something we all expected, especially after Steve resigned in August, just did not expect it to be so soon.

Rest In Peace Steve, you will be missed, but you will not be forgotten.

We just lost the thomas edison, of our time. Steve will no doubt go down in the history books and will never be forgotten. The good news is that he was a buddhist so he will be reincarnated and will live on.
