I am comforted by the fact that he is with me every day - in my pocket, in my backpack, on my desk and connected to my TV. You will never die as you are in the hearts and minds of us all. I will miss you, my friend.

Thank you for enabling me to express myself through the products you created. Thank you for putting technology in the hands of my 75 year old Nana with the original iPad. Thank you for giving my father the ability to create home videos with the iMac.

My same reaction. I have been using Macs ALL MY LIFE. I am nearly two decades old, now.

Unfortunately, this was news that we all knew was coming.

Thanks for every one of those risks you took, Steve. Without them, we wouldn't be anywhere near where we are today: we would be still in the age of Tandy TRS-80s with 80 columns in black & white, instead of having a hundred times that amount of power in our shirt pocket.

I can't quite believe how sad I am to hear this news, life seems so unfair. It explains why the keynote yesterday seemed rather odd with Tim & Phil looking more than just nerves but almost unhappy. I said at the time when Steve wasn't mentioned or made an appearance that he might be very ill. How hard it must of been for them to go ahead with the launch knowing poor Steve had not long. Now I understand as they must have months ago when Steve stepped down saying " unfortunately that day has come"
Dam Steve I shall miss you..

I remember the first time i played oregon trail on a mac and i knew from then i was hooked :apple:

You took a company that was on the verge of death and took it to the top and you kept me entertained with pixar movies. You will never be forgotten and i can only hope to leave a mark as big as you have on the world :apple:

Steve was an example of using your gifts to the fullest.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Jobs family and his friends.
 
Is the 4S name a tribute to Steve???

This is my theory:

The Iphone 4S is really an iphone 5. Apple changed the model to a 4S for Steve. It means "4 Steve".

RIP Mr. Jobs. I have owned an iphone since 2007 and still love it to this very day. Thank you!!! Iphone is and always will be the best phone out there! I'm getting the 4S and calling it "Steve" with all due respect.

I'm truly happy to have had Apple be a major part of my life and improve the way I interact with the world. You'll be missed Steve and thanks for all the long waits in line for the next magical Apple device!

It seemed like it was extremely solemn up on stage. They were definitely not as lively as you would imagine. Truly a crazy two days at Apple. Could this be a symbol of the 4S's imminent failure? Or could it symbolize the begininning of a prosperous Apple?
 
The world just lost the best innovator it has ever seen.

There's something terribly, terribly sad about a man who has all the money, power, passion and drive in the word, being so utterly helpless against such a monstrous disease.

If i manage to fit a fifth of what he achieved in his 56 years into my lifetime i will die a very proud man.

very saddened by this :( thanks steve for all the fun times and everything you have brought this world. you will never be forgotten and your legacy will live on. thank you for all the great products. if it wasn't for you i wouldn't be the apple and computer nut i am today. :) a great inventor, businessman, and creative mind. thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
