I'm really tearing up thinking about the new Apple Spaceship Campus and how Steve didn't live to see it built...

I think he knew he was going to go and wanted to leave that behind. I tried hard not to tear up. I can't help it. Because him MLK, RFK, Carl Sagan were my heroes i never got to meet.

I want to be a better person more so than ever now.

It's still too much.

May you 'always follow your heart' Steve... RIP

As the hours pass since I first knew he was gone, I get sadder and sadder. I haven't cried in years.

I love you, Steve. I hope I see you on the other side.

I'm saddened by the loss of a true genius in the tech world. People may not agree with Apple, it's patent wars, and the nature of iOS. I know though that in spite of loyalty camps, fanboys, and people of the like, most everyone can agree that the tech world has in fact lost one of the truest innovators of our time. RIP Steve Jobs, you will be missed dearly.

We just lost our own living breathing Da Vinci. I consider myself to have even lived in his lifetime.

this is so very sad, I have school early tomorrow but I can't go to sleep with this heaviness in my eyes and this knot in my stomach. why did he have to go so young?

Steve

Today is a very very sad day...You will be missed...truly brilliant is all I can say..I feel like you were part of my every day life like we were old best friends yet I never even met you. You are amazing and will be a very bright shining star. RIP Steve....I am so very sad.

I too am shocked at how distraught over Steve's passing I am.

I guess you never truly understand how much you admire someone until they are gone.

RIP Steve

I just woke up, and since I still have apple.com as my homepage. I thought first that it was about his book, then I thought it didn´t make so much sence with 1955-2011, and confirmed he was dead.

Not the first thing I was expecting to know about when I woke up today.
RIP.

Thanks for everything Steve. You don't know how large of an influence you've had on all of us (including me). :apple:

I turn on my old Duo 230 for you. We'll always miss you, but never forget you.
