completely different atmosphere than what goes on at Google

the public seems to have this god-like view of Apple both for their products and as a company. it's actually not that great of a place to work when compared to comparable companies of that size. yes you make great products - but that doesn't actually do anything for you as an employee

Given the current employee lawsuits in the tech industry, your comment makes no sense. Except of course to bash Apple. Oh and nice revival of a necro thread guys:cool:

the employee lawsuits have been mostly at the store level, by law firms leading class actions suits for hourly employees. i am talking about at the corporate level - working at Apple isn't anything like the awesome image they represent to the public.

So if a guy did it's OK and he can let of steam but if its a woman with the same reaction, she's a bitch? That's what I interpret it as

Why? Why is it okay if a guy did it? Where was that stated? I would have said the same thing about Forestall doing this. So what exactly is your point?

Apple is a hardware company. Their product is hardware. Completely different mindset than Google. Their product is your information. They MUST be different to coax the information out of you. Your obvious observation is... obvious?

Not said to be mean, just a matter of fact.
