**** you Gordon Brown. If EJ the DJ get's knighted...then STEVE deserves to as well!
Sir Steve eh?
Too bad, that limey PM blocked it..... Quite an honour to be even considered for.
"Honorary Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire".
I'm sure Steve is really losing sleep about this...

BTW I love that pic of Steve at Stanford; just when I think I ought to shave, I stop and think...what would Steve do?
Yes, those are surely the only two alternatives.Yes, I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted to be a Knight Commander of the Order of the British Empire... He'd much rather be just another ignorant yank.
This is beside the point, as simple Knighthood is beneath His Steveness. I was thinking perhaps "Lord Jobs, Duke of Macintosh", but I'm not sure even that would suffice. I'm not sure it is within the power of HRH to grant a sufficently worthy title, such as "Steve I, iCEO".
The Prime Minister has the power to veto knighthoods and similar honours, so whether Liz likes it or not if the incumbent PM doesn't like the idea it's not going to happen.as if the queen would ever listen to G. Brown
Go girl!
I thought we all were, well with the exception of the Lady's and the serfs. Obviously.Everytime I go to the USA everyone always addresses me as "Sir", I think americans must think we are all knights from England![]()
Probably sounded better in your head..?![]()
Also – as others have alluded to – even if he had been knighted Jobs wouldn't be able to use the title 'Sir' unless he became a British citizen.
