It continues to amaze me how there is only one company in the world that has this type of a following. I admit I have the same feelings but wow, what other company would get. "OMG, OMG they are holding a press conference!" "OMG, OMG the CEO will be speaking!" lol

After the leather case/iPod hifi disaster of an event, having Steve there is no indication of anything. For all we know, he might just introduce a suede iPhone case or something.

So true (must've blocked that one out of memory), so it could be updated Hifi and new colour iPod socks with special iPhone socks.
 
I guess it will be an iMac, but I'd really prefer an early release of iWork or maybe even Leopard.. :eek: :p
 
I want a new iMac and it would be so great if he announced Leopard was coming sooner than October. Somewhere around end of August or early September would be great!
 
Roll out the next generation! :)

If all goes well, my credit card will do summersaults out my wallet with dramatic slow motion lens-flare effect. :D

OMFG, Really? I've been waiting for one. Do you think it will come in different colors? Will it be in stock the day he announces it?


Edit: If this is $99 or less, I am so getting at least one.
 
What are everyone's thoughts on a possible video feed? Apple hasn't done these for keynotes for several years, and has stuck to releasing the video footage several hours after the event, but it sure would be nice. I realize this is a smaller event than MWSF, WWDC, Apple Expo, etc., but Apple has released video coverage in the past.
 
Jobs is a master of public speaking.

I for one am very excited about this upcoming event. It's going to be a sad day at Apple when Steve can't give the keynote anymore. I wonder if they'll wheel him out in a wheelchair when he's 100+ years old? Steve you're the man.:D

If Steve doesn't present the keynote, it will be by choice. And a wheelchair? Wheeled out? Are you kidding?

You probably think he drives or is driven to work too, huh? :rolleyes: Does Star Trek ring a bell?

Steve Jobs will never die, it's in his contract.

I'd sign up to be an organ donor for the sole purpose of keeping Steve Jobs alive as long as possible (and you should, too, dammit!). >.>

On a more serious note, I really think we're going to see something revolutionary. This feels like something much bigger than just a revamped iMac.
