Maybe we'll be seeing an ultraportable touch-screen "tablet....." You know, bigger than the iPhone but looking a lot like it, and yet smaller than the MB or MBP.....

So true so true, knowing Apple Steve will do the 'These socks are different from all other socks that our competitors sell. Fruit Of Loom for instance, is only part of 5% of the market for socks. Apple is wishing to grow into that market. Introducing the iPhone socks, it's like magic!"
Long live Steve Jobs, how about petitioning for Steve Jobs Appreciation Day? We can get all of Steve's buddies together: Jonathan Ives, Bill Gates, the PC and the Mac guy from the commercials, the Intel guy, the EB Games guy, the US Patent workforce, the FCC, Apple's lawyers/attorneys, and maybe the iPod + iPhone battery recall department people? It will be a big bang. But remember, it's STRICTLY Mac-related!
By the way, there is one more thing...
For party favors, we can give out Apple Pippens, iPod + iPhone change-out-battery-do-it-yourself-kits, and a copy of Windows Vista! That will make everyone invest more into Apple!

Maybe the "ultra-portable" laptop could be coming in addition to the iMacs. That would explain why Apple ordered 13.3'' LED-lit screens along with the 15.4's currently in the SR MBP's.
I dont see an ultra portable with touchscreen until Leopard, but a MacBook Pro 10-12" seems reasonable.
With Steve J giving the presentation there is always the chance of one more thing. Top of my list is the ultra lite MBP.
While everyone is focused on the iMac the word is that this will be a Mac only presentation. Hopefully that leaves room for an upgraded Mac mini and a mid range desktop for those current mini users that want to upgrade.
The mini was billed as a way to give a Mac a try and a lot of these new users would like to move up a bit, but not to the iMac or MP. A miid range that can be upgraded (OK, half a MP) targets these good folks - and me as I use a PB hooked up to a 23" display in the office.

I just want a 24" iMac with a faster-than-ever processor, multi-touch features, a free Leopard upgrade, and half the price of the previous models. C'mon, Steve. Is that too much to ask?

C) Trust me... free versions of Vista will be having EVERYONE running to Apple stores! Hmmm... marketing schemes??

Surely they'd go for MacBook Touch or something, though.
Hopefully it will be more than "just" a new iMac. How about updating iLife, iWork and Aperture? And how about an Airport Express with 802.11n, so that it will not slow down my network?

Exactly! So this means one of the following:
1 - new, revamped .Mac features including a mindblowing 2Gb storage space as standard, and one more thing...new Mighty Mouse with THREE virtual buttons!!!
Or
2 - AppleWorks 7.0 with new ZTERM communications software for modem users, and one more thing...new 30th Anniversary Mac with advanced Apple II emulation to celebrate the golden years...and just to celebrate even more, the 30th Anniversary Mac will be called Performa 7730CD...CD player included...
