Hardly surprising news, is it.

Colour iPod minis?

Dual Core PBs?

Video iPod

iTMS extended to movies ( or music videos )

BT MIGHTY Mouse

although the Vid iPod seems to be more realistic, i just think that is time for Apple to change the look of things, past 5 years, is been silver and white and "i" this "power" that.

free powerbook

my TiBook went into repairs about a month ago, under insurance, with popped hinges, which cost £1000 to fix, and a dead trackpad and optical drive, so to nice people at my insurance agency hace given me £2200 in PcWorld vouchers to buy myself a new powerbook, so next month could be my lucky month. :D :D

Jesus

Intel Macs

Intel based powerbooks, out earlier than Expected!

(Hey, I can dream, can't I?)

Not likely...they just introduced new ones last year! Maybe an update, but that's not a major announcement.

Steve Jobs is expected to keynote this year's Apple Expo in Paris, France..

While I would like it to be that his is going to announce new Dual-Core (G4 or G5) PowerBooks but I think it is more likely Steve is simply going to be reassuring people that the upcoming MacIntel computer are a good thing.

lost interest after the infinion chip hehehe :D

it's still more than a month away!

The event is more than a whole month away and the speculation already begins. Watch this thread grow rapidly unless a new rumor pops up soon. Everybody's been hoping for updated PowerBooks but I would guess that Apple waits until January to release a new dualcore powerbook that would allow a full year for an x86 PowerBook to come out in 2007. G5 PB? Possible, but I wouldn't bet on it as I previously would. Not anymore.
Whatever happens, the PowerBook is undoubtfully what's been complained most about for months.

how about a screen on the shuffle for starters......

Nah, I'm an iPod Mini owner, but really wish it had a click-wheel so I could use it in my pocket, without having to see what I'm doing. The shuffle seems ideal for this...?

I doubt we'll get that til at least MacWorld next year with the intro of the first MacTel or Apple Inside machines.

My money is on video iPods. We'll probably get the Gen 5 video iPod. It's been well over a year since the last generational rev of the iPod. It's due.

I still don't think it will be the 5G iPod; I think it's going to be a new, somewhat wider form factor.

If a single-core G5 PB was possible, I don't think Jobs would make a big deal about it anymore. He'd probably make a bigger buzz on a dualcore G4 than he would a G5.
In fact, I wonder how Jobs will be announcing the future (and last) PPC computers. A "one more thing" for a computer with a processor that is going to be replaced in the coming two years?

all of the above is what we are dreaming for. but hell... please make me happy. i'm tired of a 12" laptop, i want a 15 or maybe the 17. i dont think is too much to ask for an upgrade to the 15 or 17 :)
