Steve probably had drawings of his ideas for an iPad since the 90's. He just didn't have the tech to see his dream become a reality at that point, now it finally is a reality, he probably has a dozen ideas and drawings floating around Apple that are eating for the tech to become avaialable. Steve will probably be influencing Apples new releases for the next 20 years to come, easy.

problem is, without Steve there someone else will have to make the right decisions, decisions more characterized by gut-feeling than anything else. Or in building on what Jobs said himself, Apple now needs a new "no-man".

People think focus means saying yes to the thing you’ve got to focus on. But that’s not what it means at all. It means saying no to the hundred other good ideas that there are. You have to pick carefully. I’m actually as proud of the things we haven’t done as the things I have done. Innovation is saying ‘no’ to 1,000 things.

Steve Jobs was truly a visionary. He has led his company to create great products, but what people have to remember is that while working at Apple these past few years, Mr Jobs was not the only one creating these products. His huge staff at Apple have been the ones building these products. The staff has come up with great ideas, and people should remember that although Steve is gone to come up with the next idea for a great new product, or to contribute ideas to a product, or to make sure every detail is perfect, the team at Apple is still their to contribute their innovative ideas, like they've been doing for many years.
