They want to make the Pro Max even bigger?? Might as well make it an iPad Mini 6 with phone capabilities.

The new rumored sizes is the very reason I upgraded this year from my X. The new pro form factors are going to be either too small 5.4 or a bit too big 6.7 for me I think. So I went Pro Max this year. See how things play out next year.

Glad I did , nice upgrade, even if it was just for the camera and battery, just not needed really from an X unless those new upgrades matter.

I tried to keep my original X for a 3rd year but the battery had degraded to 85% max capacity and would not last longer than 6 hours at a time. It was not going to hold up as a daily driver for a 3rd year. And I usually upgrade at 2 years anyway.

So I traded in my X toward the 11 Pro Max while I could get the $400 trade in value for it. Going from the X to the 11 Pro Max got me a bigger screen/device, better battery, much faster system, improved cameras, much better Face ID, faster downloads. Yes 3D Touch is no more, but Apple crippled 3D Touch functionality on the X anyway with iOS 13. Haptic Touch works about 85%-90% similarly IMO.

I really deliberated about trying to make the X work for a 3rd year and waiting for the 2020 iPhone. But I did not feel that my X would have held up. And the way I see it, if the 11 Pro is the final iteration of the design that was started with the X, then I feel like it is certainly polished. And who knows what to expect from the 2020 iPhone in terms of design/features with all the rumors.

In the same boat with you, except with my Xs. Battery just decreased down to 85% from 88% last month. Don’t even know why it depleted down so fast since I don’t do much with the phone to begin with and it’s not even a year old. Wanted to keep my phone for at least 2-3 years, but don’t think it’s going to happen. Was thinking of getting the regular 11, because I was interested in the 2020 iPhone, but the rumors about it so far (and yes I know they are just rumors) really doesn’t have me interested in it, especially the one about the smaller screen size. So I may just go with the 11 Pro.

I have both phones right now. I think Dual SIM and the battery life won me over to keep the 11 Pro however. I ride public transit a lot, battery life is important, and this phone really nails it in battery life.

I handed down my 7 to one of my kiddos, and got the wife’s X. She upgraded to an 11 pro. One thing that’s really bad is the ram management. Not sure if it’s a bug, but I go from YouTube to iMessage, and when I go back, YouTube refreshes almost every time. Guess I’ll trade this in for an 11 pro lol

Google is really, really bad with this. I'll be in Google News, jump out to look at something else, go immediately back and it's lost my place. Doesn't happens with other news aggregators like Flipboard.

Mine is about to be gone. It's 64 gig and about out of space. I can trade it in for an 11 and still upgrade next year.
