I've seen signs at Apple stores stating that iPhone 5S was out of stock at that location. Odd that supplies are so tight a month out, but I guess demand was very strong.

i wouldn't say that demand is high or low but when they do have some at local Apple Stores, it's quite limited, maybe they will have just a couple and at most not even 10. so this is not really good. i don't know what they're thinking. they need to work on their supply chain at this is not good for business. this has been going on for years and every time they released a new iPhone.they always say that supply is limited. getting tired of this.

Lots of Space Gray in the 20 closest stores to me (Mid-Atlantic).

thanks for the link.

check my area for Gold 5S and all they have is 64GB and in one Store (out of 20 stores).

space gray in 16GB (which is the sweet spot for size) is showing as 3 stores has them but 60+ miles away from me.

silver is limited too for 16GB.

I wanted to upgrade my iPhone 4 to a 5s, but could not find one anywhere. So I kept my iPhone 4 and upgraded my LG phone to a Samsung Galaxie Note 3 on the 1st day it was available.

The iPhone 4 has a data plan of 200 MB, the Note 3 has a data plan of 3 GB. I love the large 5.7 inch screen that makes the Internet so much more useful for me. Overall, the Note 3 is quite good, but just not as polished as the iPhone.
