Aside from the dev portal being down for a while and perhaps not being up tomorrow still, we still don't know when the next beta will be coming. So we would essentially not only guessing about one thing but about two things we basically have no information about, making any and all of our guesses even more meaningless.

You missed a word out.

i dont think we will have ios 7 beta 4 tomorrow as dev centre has been compromised and apple is overhauling the complete dev centre..

but i guess OTA update can be accessed but downloading ios 7 beta 4 ipsw from dev centre wont be possible until site is up and secured.

Seriously, you're no fun. Every thread I've seen you post in, you're telling people to stop talking about rumored beta release dates because no one really knows when they're coming out. People are allowed to speculate. We don't need you chiming in on every thread telling people they can't do so. I personally appreciate the speculation (within reason) because I can see what others think about release dates and such.
It's not really speculation when people say "It's coming on Monday". When another user comes across that they see a comment like that more if a statement (meaning there's some actual information saying that) than a random guess (which it is for the most part). I might be "no fun" brining up reality, but I don't think it's all that fun making it seem like you know something when you actually don't (and by you I mean those who post those kind of guesses in a way that clearly makes them seem as something more than that).

If people are more than free to post random guesses and pure speculation then why would it be bad or somehow wrong to actually point they out when that happens given that it's at lest somewhat closer to the realm of reality. It's all just "rumors" anyway, right (whether it's just guessing, pointing out that it's just guessing, or even dismissing some guesses).

If the dev center is up in the morning, then there's a chance. Otherwise probably not. Need that new Xcode to go with iOS, not just the ota itself.

A Poll ?

Seriously !!

Why not just wait. Who cares if it is delayed by a week or so?

I'm sure getting the developer portal up and running is far more important to Apple at this stage than releasing the 4th beta for their iOS platform.

OTA may still happen, dev site isnt needed straight away. Don't see why it should affect the iOS dev team. Gives everyone a few days to compile the bugs and send them all when the dev site is back up working. Never know.

Yes, but only OTA. Anyone can grab a copy of B3 and install that, then update if they want to get ios 7 from scratch.

Oh no! The OP created a poll! Let me add to the two pages of petty bulls**ting that followed it!

Please fire back on my petty bullsh**ting with your own, clap your hands, and say "I believe in MacRumors!" so it won't die!

If the hacked dev center comes back online, beta 4 will be there IMHO.

Not unless they set up a different site just for beta downloads, but I'm guessing they have more pressing things on their hands. Plus, I don't think they would just do it OTA because what happens if debs run into trouble and need the actual file for iTunes restores, etc?

I really hope so. Really need an update so I can start receiving calls again..This is pretty frustrating..Yes, I know you're not supposed to use it on your main device but it's unfair to assume that everyone that wants to develop apps has the throwaway money for a second device.
