Mine was at Ontario on March 11. Then arrived at Memphis TN earlier today. Now it's 30 miles from me here in Tucson AZ less than a hour now.

Mine is still in Ontario, but I'm local and the time to get to my local facility is not much more than an hour..................

News breaking on KABC-TV Hostage situation at the FedEx FDX‎ - FedEx Corporation (NYSE) facility in Ontario, CA. 5 armed and masked intruders entered the facility and took 7 members of the office staff hostage. They were apparently aware of a large shipment of electronics being held at the facility and have demanded the entire supply to save the lives of the hostages. It turns out the electronic devices are the iPad units being released by Apple AAPL‎ - Apple Inc. (NASDAQ). FedEx, Apple, and law enforcement have consulted and FedEx is arranging a Boeing 767 to fly the intruders and the iPad devices to an unnamed mid-east location, unofficially reported to be Syria. Apple has not officially responded, but a spokesperson informally said Apple will automatically re-fulfill the orders involved, but due to the high demand and a shortage in display screens in the supply chain, the expected order fulfillment date is July 27. Charges to credit cards will be reversed in the meantime.

Just kidding.

Mine finally left Ontario and is in Portland now, hopefully heading a little ways South soon.

Looking forward to tomorrow! :D

Been sitting in Ontario, CA since the 10th. It's "in transit" though, finally.

Edit: It started in Ontario, then went to Mira Loma, CA and is now back in Ontario, CA. "In transit" still.

Oh no, I hope my iPad is okay :)

Mine's still sitting in Ontario. I suspect it won't leave until late tonight, as they usually truck them up to SBA area (iirc). It's about a 3hr drive (a threeee hour drive... ;) ).

I wonder where my Mira Loma truck went. A truck traveled however many hundred miles to Oakland but mine has just been cruising around all day even though I'm only 50 miles away.
No. It may have arrived at it's destination already, but the contents have yet to be scanned. It doesn't officially arrive until it's been scanned as received.

Mine just went from Ontario to Oakland then Seattle in the course of 2 hours. I bet they are moving them but not scanning along the way so the website doesn't get updated properly.

Mine went from Ontario to Mira Loma to Oakland... in a matter of 3 hours...and hasn't updated since then... about 8 hours ago...

Why did it go North, when it eventually will head south?

I am in Phoenix... Oh well... at least my iPad got to pass by the home of it's makers... Cupertino. :D:apple:

I don't understand?

Ok, here's what I don't understand, my iPad was at Long Beach, CA and when it left, I thought it's on its way to San Diego, CA where I live because if you look at the map, it would make more sense but then I just looked at my tracking and for the life of me, why would they go further away and instead go to Ontario? Is Ontario some kind of Distribution center? What's in Long Beach then? Oh well, as long as it says on time then all I can do is wait. It's just so confusing these logistics business :D

I'm in Phoenix, too. No updates since it left Oakland about 11 hours ago.
