I cannot respect people who steal stuff just to get "news-worthy" credit. I'll happily wait until WWDC.

I don't see the problem with posting the information that's now out there. It's not like it won't be posted everywhere anyway.

I see nothing but problems day in and day out with usb c on Mac and PC. Every. Day.
I don't see the point in going back now that we've had no ports for 5 years. If they'd put TB4 on the iPhone, or at least USB-C I don't think anyone would have minded the lack of MagSafe. Carrying one charger in your backpack, etc would have been nice.

If it would already be posted "everywhere" then there's little to no reason to also post it here, right?
The problem with adding to that collection of posts is that it increases pressure on Apple, and therefore serves the goals of the thieves.
So they can face legal prosecution just to leak stuff that has already been leaked, or will be leaked. Dummies...
I am happy MR is reporting on this because it is everywhere and very newsworthy and extremely pertinent to this forum and its user base
Another huge downside of MagSafe only charging would be losing the ability to charge from either side of the MacBook which depending on your position in relation to your outlet is a lifesaver.
Let's just have it both ways. Charge with whatever insertion tip you desire. Just don't take away the most meaningful charging solution I've ever seen (again).
Considering that Macrumors posts largely the same information as every other Apple centric website anyway that's like saying there should only be one website dedicated to Apple news.
I'd also argue that this amounts to free publicity for Apple and that no damage is being done. This builds hype for the next machines.
Kind of majorly disappointed in your aiding and abetting the thieves by publishing this.
