I called. The order I placed later in the day is in route to my zip code and will be here tomorrow by 10:30.
I did the tracking with my first ordered phone, and it says the same thing, but will be delivered on Thursday by 4:30PM.
Funny.
Obvious is obvious, especially with the two 'you will get it earlier' emails from Apple.

I'm in the same boat. First post ever too, been reading the past two weeks, but never wanted to put in my two cents.
The break down
Order - 15th 4:30 am with delivery to house in Nordeast Minneapolis
Email - Last night like everyone.
FedEx - Hasn't been updated since 3:20pm in ANCHORAGE, AK
I would usually find this level of OCD laugh worthy, but I'm compulsively checking Fedex too.
Shipped off my 3G to Greece after ebaying it on Friday, and I'm in withdrawal from internet connectedness when I step away from the computer.

I got tired of waiting and called FedEx. They said my phone would be leaving Alaska tonight. They said it had to clear customs and he saw no reason I would not get my phone tomorrow (as my tracking number has always said on Jun 23rd by 10:30 AM).
So maybe I can relax a little...
Considering the flight alone from Anchorage to say, Memphis is 6 hours. Even if the flight left at 6pm in Anchorage, it would not even get to Memphis until 4am, giving the shipment ~6 hours to get to me in NC at my doorstep (6/23/10 by 10:30AM). Not to mention its 754 miles from Memphis to my house, the reps assessment seems a bit uninformed.
If your last update on FedEx states "In transit" in AK, that doesn't mean it's still in AK. I bet this evening sometime it will show up in NJ or TN or GSO or RDU, wherever and it will be at your house tomorrow. For example...If I had checked on June 21st I would have seen In transit for Hong Kong and the next entry was In Transit in AK. So the next entry it will be in NJ/TN or wherever. It's not in AK.

There are no other arrival or departure scans.
The estimated delivery shows 6/24 by 4:30pm, however I received the email from Apple this AM saying that I should expect it tomorrow (6/23).

Mine has been stuck since 1:35 p.m. yesterday. I'll be calling the FedEx tracking thing when I get out of class in about an hour. Hoping to hear it's on it's way to Columbia!
I'm probably going to wear the coating off of my F5 key because I keep refreshing the Fedex page.
Mine shows no update since Departed Anchorage 3:20pm Jun 21.
An iPhone got delivered to my building at work today -- the guy didn't put a suite number in so the poor Fedex guy had to go office to office by name to see if someone had an Apple order.

FedEx told me all iPhone deliveries going to Columbia are being re-routed to Lawrence, KS.
After sitting at the "Departed" from AK at 3:20PM since yesterday, mine just changed status to "Departed" from Indy at 3:30PM today. Oddly enough it didn't show an "Arrival" in Indy. I think they used a transporter.

Wow, me too except my tracking info STILL hasn't updated to show that my phone has left Indy. Hopefully, my info will update soon.

I couldn't take it anymore. I called and used the automated system. They just say that it's in route to the facility at zip code xxxxx and scheduled for delivery tomorrow by 10:30am.
So, hopefully it'll be there and the FedEx page just isn't getting updated. Now I gotta swing being home tomorrow instead of Thursday!

Looks like it was customs. Mine just changed to "Int'l Shipment Release" too.

I think its actually LENEXA, KS and I say that because I live in Overland Park, KS (right next to Lenexa) and there is a HUGH FEDEX center there. Lawrence is about 30 minutes west of here and I am not aware of any FEDEX distribution center there other than an small office, could be wrong tho.
Also, I called FEDEX earlier today and was told my phone would be going to Lenexa, KS for delivery.
