i think you're nit-picking the details in my rant. Yes i haven't been charged, and despite everything i am still very well intend on my purchase. I am still a customer, whether you want to be technical about it. I should still deserve good customer service.
I highly doubt this is the same old pre-order. Many have voiced their valid reasoning that this is not the same old.
as you have also mentioned that fact
It's a brand new product category for Apple. How do you judge market demand accurately when sales over the pre-order weekend completely blew away the total sales for all SmartWatches combined during the last year. I would have been shocked if they had gotten it 100% right, which is why I'm frankly a little bit surprised that so many people feel they got it SOOOOO wrong.
Yep, you're a customer. I'm not trying to be technical about that at all. There is no debate there. By your own admission you haven't paid for anything, and that negates some of your argument right there. I think that Apple was pretty good about setting expectations with the shipping date ranges they gave us. If your expectation was that 4/24 - 5/8 meant you'd get it on 4/24 that can hardly be Apple's fault. I understand wanting it on 4/24. I do too. Will I be pissed if I don't get it on 4/24? Yup, I absolutely will be. Again though, only because I am an instant gratification personality type and not because of some perceived misunderstanding on the promised delivery date. I won't be pissed at Apple though, and I won't be permanently swearing off all Apple products. I'll just be pissed in general.
