Stuck in Zhengzhou

Mine is the exact same as well. Including being stuck on Prepaing For Shipment since Sunday. I fully expect it to arrive on Friday regardless.

Why did you get it shipped UPS? Everyone knows their planes are on a weather hold in China. I had mine shipped fedex and it's already countryside.

It is scheduled for this Friday. I'm not worried, at least not until tomorrow night if there are no updates. :p

It is strange by this time the iphones have to be on delivery trucks to arrive at 19.

Do you think that Apple has told UPS to not display the info on their page?

I was so tired by the time I finally got the pre-order in via the Apple app, I don't remember if they even gave us a choice of shipping carriers.

How do you know this?

I have no other option to select a different company.
 
How are you guys seeing where it's coming from? All mine says is "Order Processed: Ready for UPS"

Could some one please call ups and ask them if their iphones are going to be delivered on Friday?

I called and asked - The UPS CS rep literally had no more information then I did and suggested that it may be transiting through customs. She also tried to tell me that the delivery date may be pushed to Saturday, but when I asked why she just told me to keep an eye on the online tracking and said that is the most current info. She literally was seeing exactly what I was seeing.

They will (mostly) arrive on time. Just like they do every year. I've been on here since the 3gs and it's the same threads every year. Just wait until Friday morning and it will magically bounce from wherever it is now to "out for deliver".



Seriously, every year. There should really be a sticky. "So you pre-ordered an iPhone for release day delivery? Here is how this is going to go..."

You are right, I am sure that everything is part of the magic. It is fun to check constantly this threads and also the UPS website.

I CALLED UPS THEY SAID THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT I WAS TALKING ABOUT SO I CUSSED THEM OUT!!! THEN I DROVE TO THE LOCAL HUB AND ALMOST STARTED A RIOT, POLICE CAME OUT AND EVERYTHING!!! WEATHER.COM SAYS CLEAR WEATHER WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT I AM DYING ARRRGGG!!!

Just departed a few seconds ago!
 
If it left China a few minutes ago, what are the chances of it getting to Florida by day after tomorrow morning?

Basically should I do the UPS my choice pickup thing? If for some reason it doesn't make it by Friday I will NOT be able to pick it up on Saturday.
