Mine (32GB WHT VZW) just went to "shipping" about an hour ago, going to just north of Boston via Middletown, PA. Southern NH is likely coming from the same place?
I was hoping my stay in "Prepare for Shipment" land would be short, but since I'm in Oregon and my iPad is supposed to be in California, it probably won't switch to shipped until late today or early tomorrow. The next two days are going to drrrrrag! 
Anyone with this model moved to shipped yet?

Just called Apple. Could not tell me why still in preparing to ship but said would pass on to team that can fix. Gave me a Free smartcover to insure good experience. Still says deliver 3/16 but with the freebie I am worried. I had it shipped to my aunts house because I will be out of town visiting her this weekend. Hope it comes Friday. Anyone else have this model ship yet?

When you scroll over Track a drop down window appears and one of those choices is track by reference. Then you can enter the number you used when you ordered.
Preparing for shipment since 8pm Monday night (AU Time) I want mine to ship already!

OK, I broke down and called Apple like someone upthread did. "Brandy" told me that mine was sitting in Pennsylvania and would ship tomorrow and would be to me on the 16th. She said that the iPads for those of us who didn't order engraving have been sitting in position for us in the U.S. I assume mine is in Middleton, PA since that's the location I've seen mentioned many times. She said it would ship tomorrow and I'd get it Friday. I'd also receive an email when it shipped.

Ha ha, I just got my confirmation at 5:44 p.m. Oh well, I'll stop monopolizing this thread now. Sadly the iPad is coming FedEx and not UPS. UPS driver here is like clockwork around 12-1, and will deliver to my husband up the street if I'm not at work when he comes. The FedEx guys are totally random and if I'm not there I have no idea what they'll do.

Finally shipped notice
Finally got a shipping notice. Having it shipped to my aunt's house in the middle of no where. It says deliver the 15th by 4:30pm and hold at location not available for this location. Did anyone else get this message on the shipment? Any chance they will deliver it by accident?

Definitely belong here, still stuck in Preparing jail. However, I notice that my shipping method has changed from standard shipping to next day. If you're still stuck where I am, you might check your shipping method. That gives some hope that we'll receive shipping notices tomorrow for Friday delivery.
Yes, you might. My engraved iPad was switched by Apple to a non-personalized one, so that I can receive an iPad on 16th. The personalized one will deliver on 20th. But right now, both are at 'Preparing for Shipment' status with next day shipping.
I am very jealous of everyone who has had theirs shipped. I was hoping mine would have changed. In another thread I had mentioned how apparently Apple is sick of my calling, so a management rep emailed me and asked if I still had any questions about my order to contact him directly. He verified that mine is coming from California, which is why I have been stuck at each stage. I'm confident that mine will still come Friday as scheduled.
I do and have had it since day two. I ordered my device on the 7th minutes after the store opened up and it's been stuck on this ever since early the 8th. I just called Apple again and they told me not to worry as it will be here by tomorrow -- it probably just hasn't been updated yet.
