How is this possibly legal? My god, I've heard some weird things before, but this takes it. Not only is this most likely illegal, but it's also extremely dangerous.
well apparently she got the idea from her sister who was a prostitute for 3 weeks and made enough to pay for her master's (fact is in the article)

I would poke her if I had the chance, but pay that amount of money? I'm sorry, I'd be expecting to poke Jennifer Aniston for that kind of cabbage.
EDIT: I don't understand why she's so desperate to pay for her MSc, it's not even a real discipline. I can't prostitute myself to pay for my degree in economics. Christ knows we need more economists than family therapists given the times.

It isn't. That's what it is. In many places, that's not illegal, in particular the legal brothel in Nevada where the final 'transaction' will take place.

Well no but if i had £2.5m and nothing to do with it I might consider it if she was say Jessica Alba hot, but not when she's not as attractive as my current girlfriend (and I'm not saying that cos she's my gf, i'm saying it cos she just is prettier regardless)

Getting back to topic, the economist in me wonders if we can model the point where the auction no longer "takes advantage" of this young woman, and starts taking advantage of the bidder.
