Well they're not getting any points for tonight's episode. They blocked out the three main leads entirely (Perry, Whitford, Peet) in probably the worst episode of the series (which was actually still decent). Hopefully they fire back next week.

As far as getting picked up, I would hope Sorkin would look to HBO or Showtime who could afford a show like this...and it would break down any profanity or sexuality boundaries and give the show a new breath. So who knows...

This week and the next 5 weeks are all new episodes, finishing off the first (and only) season. I actually really enjoyed the show tonight. Busfield and Allison Janney once again demonstrated some amazing chemistry.

As far as possible renewal on another network goes, I think it is very unlikely. Rumor has it that the sets have already been dismantled. It's too bad, because I have really enjoyed it! It is no West Wing or Sports NIght, but it is generally pretty fantastic.

Last night's was indeed a new episode, but you didn't miss much. Like MovieCutter said, none of the three leads were even in this episode, so it didn't do anything to advance the storylines associated with those characters.

So the final episode is on now and this show ended stronger then it started. I think it would of done better the second season if given the chance.

SPOILER: For a split second there at the end, after Danny had handed out cigars to the cast and everyone had walked away except Matt, I thought Danny was going to drop the bomb that Jordan had died shortly after he got to see her. I was sensing a little tension in the scene and that was just the first thing that came to mind!

Even tho it was billed as the series finally the ending was open ended so I guess it could return at some point somewhere. Depends if the show was filmed before or after the show was cancelled.
