Studio Display in-store availability

Yeah most uk stores seem to have them today but only one each by the looks of things because I ordered mine from the store in Bath and as soon as I ordered and re-checked inventory the date was back to the 17th of June.
Set mine up this evening and it’s pretty impressive. It needed a software update.
No issues setting up to my M1 MacBook and even my work Windows laptop that has a standard usb-c connection with no thunderbolt just plugged and played with the Apple thunderbolt cable . Microphone, speakers and webcam all working fine through windows with Microsoft teams
Good to hear the apple cable worked with your windows laptop, that was one of my concerns. Im going to take my work laptop with me to the store and test it before picking up tomorrow evening.
Yeah it worked a treat straight from the start. I was going to do exactly the same as you and take my work laptop with me to the Apple store but I took a chance and didn’t bother and it was absolutely fine. As long as you have a USB-C port on your work laptop you should be fine. I’ve just ordered a backward compatible extension cable which will remain plugged into my MacBook and that way I’m not swapping cables between the MacBook and the work laptop to mitigate the risk of damage to the port on the MacBook

Has anyone been able to get a height adjustable Studio Display in store yet? I've looked and haven't seen one anywhere in the US yet...plenty of stores with the tilt.
I wish the guy who made the InventoryWatch application would fix it so it works with the Apple Studio Display. It's the only product in the dropdown that doesn't work correctly....of course.
For example...put in Woodland Hills, Tulsa. Available on the Apple Store webpage...but nothing shows in the app. That's the way it is all around. All the other products show up.
I got one in a Chicago-area store on launch day, but haven’t seen any others since then.
Weird, I wonder if anyone know who the developer is? I also wish they had an iOS version of this application.
I have 2 x ASD with VESA mount on order with Apple with delivery scheduled for May 27 - June 13. This is by far the unicorn of ASD. I can't find a single one anywhere. Looks like Best Buy is getting some next week. If that happens, I would get them from Best Buy and will cancel my order with Apple. BTW, Best Buy does have ASD with Tilt adjustable stand available for pickup today in a few of my local Best Buy stores in Houston.

I've checked every morning for a few days and I have never seen any stock in or around Seattle of any configuration.
I suppose they are truly constrained, but a few people have posted screens of several being in stock near them.
Granted, Seattle is an intense tech hub . . .

In Chicago, it seems like a few stores get 1-2 in stock every few days. Earlier today the Northbrook Court store had the tilt-only nano-texture model, but no other stores had anything in stock. On Friday, a few stores in the Chicago area had the tilt-only standard display.
I have two ASD VESA mount on order with Apple with delivery scheduled for May 27 - June 13. I have been checking Apple Store almost twice a day for 2 weeks and I haven’t seen any available for in store pickup. Looks like the VESA mount is the unicorn of ASDs.
Yeah, VESA displays are nowhere to be found. Plenty of resellers have the tilt displays in the UK now and I’ve seen the odd height adjustable display, but never the VESA. If I hadn’t had my iMac propped up for the past 7 years I’d probably have cracked and bought the tilt-only, but this time I really want to do things properly.
Looks like it’ll be a toss up between continuing to use the 2015 iMac for 2 months even once my Mac Studio arrives, or using the Studio with an ancient 1440p Dell monitor for a while. Got to love Apple’s courage for removing target display mode…

I have some on order from work but have been looking for some in person to get them faster. I found one in stock at the apple store the other day when I happened to walk in but it had the nano screen and I couldn't do it. Still just looks fuzzy to me, the search continues
Seems as though they are bringing out standard with tilt first, then nano with tilt. Next will prob be tilt/height standard, then nano. My guess is VESA will be last.
Im not certain, but maybe you need to click the checkbox for a preferred model(s)?. The app has been seeming consistent with Apple Store website for me, at least in the rare instances when there is actually a model available. Haven't seen any for several days.
Tried that...no luck. Somethings messed up with the ASDs, all other items show up fine.
