No offense to Canadians, I don't mean to generalize all of you, but the ones who travel up into Buffalo are, for the most part, terrible drivers.

haha when I'm at the Galleria and see the NY plates I often think the same thing :) Perhaps we have different driving styles that clash? And in our (not to generalize) defense, when its busy all people seem do their best to cut people off to get ahead of them.. and I can understand how some people might find the parking lot a little confusing (entering and exiting it I mean).

the only thing i wonder is,, how many phones can apple really have made in the past couple of months or so to supply demand of 20 countries at once?

I'm glad you guys come up and spend your money here, lord knows the Buffalo economy needs it, but uses your eyes more, not the GPS. :)

We're afraid to make eye contact with the natives. :eek:

Just kidding of course. Personally, I've never been able to rationalize burning the gas to save a few bucks on your side of the border. Then again, I don't see myself camping out to buy consumer electronics either.

But I do frequently notice bad drivers with foreign/out of state/out of province license plates up here as well. You're very welcome to join them. :)

darn those people who really want an iPhone....why can't they clear a way for important people, like me!!!
:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Sit out like other people, or wait a few days.....

This is the main concern I have with regard to the initial stock. With the original iPhone launch, Apple only had to supply enough for the U.S. (and maybe a couple other countries? I never kept up with who was involved in the initial launch) now they have nearly 2 dozen countries worldwide to have supply for, with hundreds of thousands (or more) of phones needed for each.

yeah it was just the U.S at launch and didn't they have like 3 months to start making them or so? and after a couple of weeks some people were having problems finding them.....hmmmm now they had less time to prepare (or so we think) and about 25 more countries than the first time? even though i do understand that its probably easier now in assembly lines cause it probably isnt much different form the 1st gen but still.... its a lot more phones that will be needed this time around i think...

But you can't buy the 3G iPhone without the in-store activation. So there's no point for them to cross the border.

Anyway, I don't think there are any camp outs where I live (even though last year the iPhone sold out in the AT&T store in 45 minutes). No one even knows what 3G is. Lol. And yet here we have amazing 3G reception =/.

For my area, the AT&T sold out before the Apple Store (in which the Apple store never sold out).

Not in Belgium, you camp out next to an Apple store and you'll wake up missing your kidneys and all your clothes.

Really? And where are these crazy locations? Cause I can't see that happening over here in Antwerp :)

Cause they're hosers, eh? Show any Canadians waiting in line what America is all aboot by slappin em in the face with some Canadian bacon!

MMMMM BACON!!!
