Super Bowl Discussion

i'm not sure about the validity of this, but apparently, the nfl says that if you are showing the game on a screen larger than 42 inches in a public place, you have to pay licensing fees or else...

can someone get a confirmation on this?
 
It seems like its ok if it is 55'' or bigger. I'm actually about to leave to the Ocean Drive magazine super bowl party, which is supposelively the party to be at tonight. J.Lo and marc anthony are hosting it,(i kno who cares) and that david beckham is suppose to make his "debut" tonight here after signing his massive soccer deal. I'll take pics...If you guys only knew..I live in sobe and the whole week all you see is drunk nfl players, its so funny..oddly its been mostly chicago players..we havent seen many indy players around

Well, that and his attitude in games. How many times have we seen him throw an interception and then just head towards the sideline before the play is finished? The guy just doesn't seem to care... AND, though he seems to be on the way to controlling it, when he's under pressure he tends to just lob the ball in the general direction of a receiver. He did that against the Saints and M. Muhammad actually caught the damn thing on the 2!

That said, I'm siding with the Bears, but I think Manning deserves his SB ring.

its not just a game, just ask anyone in vegas. its a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY. and i have a few of my dollars involved so its much MUCH more then just a game

Okay, I know it's raining - but what's with the freaking cameras for CBS?! I've seen home made hurricane footage that looks better than this :rolleyes:
 
What's the score? I think we're getting it live on SBS here (free). Colts are up 16-14 with 5:40 left to go in the second quarter.

Vinatieri just missed a 36 yard field goal attempt as time ran out in the first half. Colts lead 16-14. The Bears are playing tough. The Colts don't look invincible, that's for sure. Good game.

pr0n (what most macs are IMO primarily used for) is a bigger industry than the NBA and NFL combined!

i liked it too :) But im a Prince Fan.

To be honest Rex is doing what i was afraid he would do, suck. He played a great game against the Saints, but had he played a game like he is doing now it would have been the Saints Vs. Indy. I hate to say it but Rex is destroying the Bears chance at winning.
