Do you think manning deserved the MVP? I think rhodes or adai should of received the award.

I think Adai deserved it more. I also think that Rex Grossman should be canned, he lost the game for the Bears and there is no denying that fact.

Rex is not going to want to watch the NFL films special on this game

I think Addai should have won. He was so versatile during the game, but on the other hand Rhodes has an awesome game, he was unstoppable. In any event Manning should not have gotten the MVP.

If the MVP award is just for the game, Adai was certainly deserving. All round though, it was rightfully awarded to Manning...

YES! Can Grossman! Not only is he just not learning through the season, but with a performance like tonight's, he's going to have a hard time winning the trust of his teammates.
The Bears lost 90% because of Grossman and 10% because the defense was outcoached.

Umm sure Grossman did poorly but so did Manning. Manning shouldn't be MVP Adai should. For God's sake Manning played like **** and the only reason he got it was for execution. People like Adai pulled a win out of their asses for Manning. Both Grossman and Manning sucked ass today.

We need Tommy Harris, Mike Brown, and a replacement for Grossman.

He is been riding on the shoulders of the Defense and our running game. He is not a rookie anymore. He has been in this league long enough.

hmm... I didn't think manning was that bad today. I mean, he totally exposed the Bears' defense.. though the funny thing about that is that he only had to do one thing the whole game: throw short. He wasn't at his greatest, but... And even still, Manning wasn't glittering, but when by comparison your starting QB makes someone like Kerry Collins look good, you've got problems.:D

Exposed the bears defense?? Did you see the Time of Possession??

Out Defense was worn down because our offense couldn't hold onto to the damn football. We sure need Harris and Brown back.

Sorry I feel like **** right now after that loss.

Well the colts dont even have the #1 offense the saints did and look what the bears did to them, so all colts fans can eff off because manning is watching the game from his @$$

i was rooting for the bears but.... how's that hat taste? ;)

i can't stand manning's constant whining. and i think that if one of the running backs of indy had played more (rather than splitting the time), then they should've been the mvp. manning's play was simply mediocre.

the bears played poorly both offensively and defensively. great start of course, and hester is really the man. why don't they get him in there on offense just to keep the D on their toes, run some reverses or screens or something. ahh well

can cbs get some non biased announcers to anounce the game next year? for that matter get some non biased pregame people too. i mean come on, no one gave two shiits about the bears no one gave them any credit for anything. same thing 2 weeks ago when they played the saints. and for that matter, the same thing they gave the white sox when they were playing for the world series trophy. i guess its just chicago, if chicago is playing in a big game they are automaticly torn a new one and told they cant do it.

thanks for nothing.

'Superbowl' eh?

What a crock of **** American Football is. I watched about 20 mins of the (Typically American Named, its not all that Super) 'Superbowl' last year and all they did was cheer because they had moved 3 yards and then go to an advert break and then present some kind of award or trophy to someone.

I get annoyed watching actual football and they sing national anthems at the start, but this was like some soft of 3 day event before this week game of toss that was thrust before me.

Then this year... People got wet to watch it? Whats that all about? Fools.

All I can say is, thank god in the UK this was on ITV (Or Advertising funded TV) because if this was on State funded BBC there would have been hell-on.

Superbowl? No Thanks.

Tell me about it.I thought Nantz and Simms were going to get a hotel room for them and Manning for after the game. The Manning love fest, from pre game-to game-to post game, was nauseating.I know they want him as the poster child for the NFL,but he's not the only one on the field..Their binky one,and now all is good with the media and the NFL :D How could he NOT get the MVP??

Glad you don't get to make all the rules :). I don't know about calling people "fools" just because they like to watch the game and got a little wet. Did some American Football loving person insult you for something you enjoyed and they didn't? I'm not a huge fan, but I like American Football. It's more like chess than anything, but I like playing it more than watching it.

he uses a pic of Jeremy Clarkson... 'nuff said:D .

I wonder... are fans of English cricket, football, tennis etc. just fools too because we all know, they know, that England will lose... so what's the point?;)

As a Bears fan, this was obviously a disappointing game. Overall a very poor effort - but I have to credit the Colts O-line for making holes for Addai. Nice job for the rookie.

Hester's run back of the opening kick was nice - too bad the game didn't end after 1 quarter, because the Bears were playing pretty well at that point.

On the plus side, I won $200 in our SB pool, so that helps ease the pain. :p

Hey, instead of American football they've got rugby, where the only direction you're allowed to throw the ball is backwards. Need I say more? ;)

How in ****s name would that work?

Anyway, Rugby is ****...

not very intense about sports, eh? ;)

Oh yeah, just not ones where fat blokes chase funny shaped 'balls' about.

You want some football, some real, actual, football. :D

Ah yes... "real football". If some people had gotten stabbed and beaten to death for wearing the wrong jersey, you would probably love the superbowl.

I'll bet you my entire next pay check (and thats a lot... something like $12.97 US) that any one of those fat blokes could run your azz down and make you his girl friend. Any one of them.

Anywho... I'm glad Peyton got his ring. The game was kind of a yawner, though. The Bears are awefully lucky it was pouring rain or else Indy would have hung 50 on them.

I disagree. Sure, Manning had a rough start in the first quarter, but he regained his composure in the remaining quarters and did all right. He did pretty well with getting the ball to the right man at the right time and I think that did a lot for the team's confidence. There were too many instances where Grossman just didn't have the concentration he should have and he gave up several plays and was a complete butterfingers.

Do I think that Manning should be MVP? Not really, but I'm not really surprised that he got it.

The overall game was all right. Better than last year's game, but then that doesn't take much. I've found the last few years to be somewhat yawners in terms of action and closeness.

turnovers, turnovers, turnovers

Bears had 5 (with 2 more near misses by Grossman dropping the snap or tripping) Colts had 3.

That explains the point difference and the time of possession difference.

Oh well, was an exciting game for the first half, then it got ugly.

CBS noted that when Grossman & Co. came on in the second half it had been over an HOUR since they had been on the field.

Now that Manning finally won one, the NFL can go back to not making up pass interference calls and roughing the QB calls so that Indy got in.
