So you confirm we can restore purchase as long as we are connected with the same apple ID who bought the game the first time?

Yes. I was prepared to contact Apple if I was charged again when I pressed the button. Just be absolutely certain that you changed the ID to the one that's already made the purchase. I switched back to my sons ID after, which triggered the game to prompt me to enter my password once and it was good to go.

Alternative to the method I stated earlier here is another to keep game progress separate.

Old method:

The all-worlds-unlocking is tied to the Nintendo ID account so.

1.- iOS Device with App Store Apple ID ''A'': Download App, login with your Nintendo ID, buy the 9,99 full unlock

2-- iOS Device with App Store Apple ID "B": Download App, login with the same Nintendo ID, and voilá All unlocked!

New method (preferred):

1.- On Device with Apple ID "A": Download App, login with your Nintendo ID ("A"), & buy the 9,99 full unlock.

2.- If the person who you want to share your purchase with doesn't have a Nintendo ID, create one on accounts.nintendo.com.

3.- On Device with Apple ID "B", sign out from the App Store, and sign in with Apple ID "A". Download the game. Open it. SKIP NINTENDO ID CONFIG, complete the tutorial and press to buy the 9,99 full unlock. Say yes to purchase and introduce password. It will say you've already downloaded it and that it will be free. Then link the game with the Nintendo ID "B" account or the one you've created. This will tell your "B" account that you have unlocked the full game. Wait one minute so it syncs.

4.- Close the game, delete it. Sign out from the App Store. Sign in with you Apple ID "B" account. Download the free game. Open it. DURING setup, link it with the Nintendo ID "B" account. To link it, if it only offers to create new accounts, clic on the top left where it says Nintendo account which will bring you to a login page. After login in, press the blue OK at the top and an error will appear. Ignore it. Try again the Nintendo ID linking and know the page that opens will say that you're already logged in and there will be a big button to use the account with the game.

5.- And you're all set. You'll se that you have the full game unlocked.

I was thinking to try this before you posted this. Yes it works! Point 4 does the trick.

The beauty of this is that the other devices can get the app update without having to log on as your iTunes account. I wonder if Nintendo will close this loophole. This should just be a flip of a switch on their server side.

Get this on all your family devices before Nintendo flips that switch!

Nothing like automatically jumping over enemies to further cheapen the franchise and make things even easier!
Not an Apples To Apples comparison. In a typical Mario game, you have the option to stop or move backwards at will. You cannot do that in this game.

The 60% included legitimate purchasers who installed in on more than one device as they are entitled to do, so is meaningless.
Can you break down (or provide a link showing) how many were shared vs. how many were pirated? You mentioning this is meaningless since it can be the majority of them that still pirated them, to the majority of them that's actually sharing them. Besides, I think developers would take this into account.

No I have not seen any breakdowns. Just it was apparent that the 60% was getting some attention when it clearly doesn't tell the story.

So the piracy rates on Android and iOS don't tell the story? What DOES that mean then? Piracy isn't an issue? I know I'm missing something here is all!

OK, having played it for a while I really love it.

The fact that you can't stop or turn around (in most levels) actually makes it harder not easier. Also, if you go for the pink, purple and black coins in each level you'll discover that each level is actually 3 distinct levels. Once you have the pink coins the level gets moderately harder and the same is true once you have the purple coins. Some levels change significantly.

Also, some of the tricks required to get the black coins are similar to tricks I've seen in Kaizo Mario runs.

There are coins in some levels that require you to move backwards in levels where it shouldn't be possible too. You have to pull off some pixel perfect jumps and timing to be able to move back through the level.

Really good game :D

So people playing this like this so far?
Yes, absolutely :D

The first play through is fairly easy all the way up to saving Peach but the difficulty (and replayability) really comes into it's own with trying to get the pink, purple and black coins.
