At least in the US, after I forced closed (double click home button, swipe app up off screen) the actual App Store application, then relaunched, it switched to "Get" status and I could download instead of only "Notify".

*Edit- nevermind, I see you got it now :)

$10 is a very small amount of money..But I'd rather spend it on a nice juicy sandwich instead of on the game.

Well it's all relative. For a MOBILE game it's alot of money, for a good sandwich it's not. The market show us around 1-$5 to be the sweet spot for really good mobile games but people aren't willing to spend much more than that. When you move to game consoles or PC they will spend upwards of $30-$60 per game

The thing is mobile games are rarely worth $5 let alone $10. This might be but it's super iffy considering it's a shell of what a Mario game is on a Nintendo console. Until mobile game publishers put out decent full fledged games without microtransaction hell (this one thankfully avoids) I don't feel like we should reward them too generously

Publishers did put out decent full fledged games which people went nuts at when they seen the price tag. This, in turn, led to a trend that took mobile gaming down the freemium and IAP route.

People need to realise that this isn't a dinky gimmick of a platform now, hiding behind the excuse of "it's a mobile game" is tiresome.

These PC's we carry around in our pocket (and that's what they are, they're essentially PC's) are super powerful and capable of games far in excess of consoles from not too distant a generation.

The freemium/IAP mentality of "it should be cheap because its mobile" is stifling mobile gaming and holding it back.

I've added a friend via their player ID but when I go to Rally there's no option to select a friend, just a list of what looks like CPU characters to choose from?

Yeah that's all I'm seeing too. Though at the moment I'm just trying to get past W2L2, my reflexes seem to have gone to hell, that bloody boost platform near the end, every sodding time

You probably will once you complete the free levels, that's a guess though, I bought it with the button on the level select screen after the second level so I couldn't say for sure.

I already get it after so long wait.

to be fair, "inquiry" is just fine for American english

exactly. are you seriously telling me that for 10 dollars i could either buy a mario-themed flappy bird or i could actually buy a full copy of minecraft? or almost two copies of an award-winning game with way more depth like leo's fortune? pls
It's 10 dollars or 6 quid here so about half the price of a cinema ticket - jeez these first world problems, you do know they won't torch your house if you don't buy it, right ?

I don't have one other IOS app that won't let you have it open on 2 devices at once. Open it on your phone and iPad. Which one tells you that you can't use it until you close it on the other. Because one of them will. That's not seamless.

Is the 9,99 purchase tied to the Apple ID? Or the Nintendo ID?

If I login with the same Nintendo ID on two separate devices (that have different Apple IDs) will all the worlds be unlocked if I have already purchased the 9,99 IAP on other device?

I'm late to the party, but just a reminder: Tapping one of the icons at the bottom of the App Store 10 times in a row refreshes the App Store on iOS.

The game is fantastic. It really opens up once you get to the paid part. Some really complex levels with lots to discover.

It is DESIGNED for one handed play, and the levels are designed for portrait screen orientation. This was stated over and over before launch so complaining about either of these is downright asinine.

Twitter reactions to Super Mario Run are a goddamn gold mine.

People are so somehow offended that they have to pay money to play videogames. In-app purchases have seriously ruined mobile gaming; the hope for "premium" software on the platform is all but dead.

It's not even about that for me. I've paid for full version mobile games and I paid for in-app purchases. IMO, this is just not worth the $9.99 and many others feel the same. And the fact that you got to be online to play doesn't help at all.

Maybe I'll pay more, if or when they add more worlds/levels. But I'm not going to pay $9.99 for something that I'll most likely fly through.

I'm still complaining, an option for landscape would have made this so much better.

So do you need to purchase it on every account in a Family Plan?
I asked that question earlier and no one is answering.
I'd like to know that too.

not in Canada yet. My daughter is going to lose her **** when she realizes that she can't play it in the car on her ipad.
Just create a Hotspot from your phone for her.

i bet you're the kind of guy who constantly lives in debt or are just generally bad with their money

I'm actually enjoying the challenge of this game even with the simplistic controls. Every level is different. It is fun to play.

I can't access app store to download. I'm getting a cannot connect to app stores. It must have crashed due to the volume of people trying to download mario.

Ok I was able to "share" the purchase with myself lol. First I linked my Nintendo ID in SMR on my iPhone, then I made the iAP. Then I installed it on my iPad Pro, linked the same NID and it gave the message that my data has been restored. Immediately upon starting the game all levels are available.

Another note. When I made the iAP on my iPhone, I already had it installed on my iPad. I then attempted to link my NID it gave the message that the ID is already linked to another device. I then deleted the game off the iPad and reinstalled, and linked the ID during the initial setup and it went fine.

I'll be doing the same on the rest of my iOS devices in my family :) I know this must be painful for Nintendo as they're used to one copy of a game per console.

Uh ah, you're not collecting the colored coins. You have pink which is the easiest one. Get all the pink next up is blue, slightly trickier placement of the blue coins. Next is black, trickier still AND you have coins hidden in the bricks.

Every single Mario game since the SNES I've 100% all without much difficulty. Super Mario Run might get tricky to 100% as you don't have free movement. It is more challenging hat I thought it would be. I'll 100% soon enough. I'm quite hardcore when it comes to platformers, having beat Donkey Kong on the Wii U 200%
