I want the Cardinals to win, but think the Steelers will crush them. It will be over by halftime.

Same. I also want the Cardinals to win but it's not going to happen.

I bet there will be a new Apple commercial- probably a MacBook one showing the new iLife and iWork suites. If I remember correctly, Apple had an iPhone commercial playing over and over last year.

Oh yeah I'll guess at the score also.

My guess:

Arizona - 24 | Pittsburgh - 20

Before the half, Arizona will lead. They'll start strong and pumped but Pittsburgh will hang tough and hold on longer because they're veterans in comparison to Arizona and I think they'll be able to pace themselves. Plus I think Arizona is going to get overly excited after the half and **** up.

The final score, my guess is something long the lines of Arizona 23 because they'll go for that two point conversion out of sheer cockiness. Pittsburgh will wind up with something in the realm of 36.

I'm not even gonna try to guess a score since the only team I followed with any regularity this year was the Patriots, so I don't really know anything about either team... but I'm gonna be rooting for the Cardinals probably just cause they're closer to home than the Steelers :p

football is for real men:cool:

I find it funny how people always talk about football being manly and how people who don't watch it are gay, yet the whole game is a bunch of large sweaty men in tights bending over and piling on top of each other.

I've been to a few games (with family) but I don't really care for it. I'll be watching for the new Macs though :D

Cards - 30
Steelers - 14

Steelers blitzing won't effect the Cards. Boldin wins MVP with 150 yards, 2 TD's

I wish, really, but I think it will be more like 10-3, 10-6, or 10-7 Steelers and talk of this Steelers defense as another steel curtain, who had one curtain team in their heyday hold their opponent to 6 points in a Super Bowl.

This will be low scoring like last year.

But I am hoping and wearing Cardinal red and white right now as I root for the underdog every time unless it's a Bay Area team.

I hate football. I normally only watch for the commercials and the halftime show. I won't be watching the halftime show this year, because I can't stand Bruce Springsteen :shudders at the mention of its name:

Prediction-

A team of mindless oafs will try to kill the other team of mindless oafs, so they can run across painted grass with a ball. Football = Barbaric. Football Players = Idiots

Real football, on the other hand, is a game worth watching, and playing.

Don

This sounds like your prop 8 views again, in a week's time you're going to come out as a Football fan and that you'll be seeing Springsteen live ;)

Anyway, my main sport is Rugby (another 'Barbaric' sport, yet so much more team focused than soccer), but in Football my team is the Giants so was disappointed at the loss in the Play offs. I reckon the Steelers D-Line has been awesome this season. I wish Polamalu was English and played Outside Centre for Wasps, but he's really made some amazing interceptions this year.

I think the Steelers could even shut out the Cardinals, but that would be a bit of a miracle.

My prediction 24-10 to Steelers, hopefully 24-0 lol

I have an odd feeling you're right. After the half, they just won't be abe to keep up. Steelers will figure what's wot and ... "nice try, Arizona."

Cards should win since it's been so long, but looks like it's leaning to Pittsburgh this time.

Both teams got at least 20 points, not what I thought would happen. No matter who wins, my prediction of another steel curtain didn't hold up.

I really thought, win or not, the Steelers would hold Warner to very low numbers.

And Mr. Warner, not bad for your last game if this is it, win or lose. Great passing, great game, and hall of fame is definitely assured to you.
