A nail biter. Good ending.

Games that come down to the last play making a difference are always what make these fun, regular season or Super Bowl. Warner almost got that last pass off and people will always ask if that could have been the hail Mary last second heroics. It could have been his last play.

Steelers held their ground, maybe not up to the standards they have had all season, but they got enough for the win. They didn't cover the odds for the betters out there playing it safe, and anybody who bet on such a high scoring, close game probably have a lot to smile about.

I am stunned that the NFL didn't review that last play. If they had, they would have gotten the right call and Arizona would have had the ball 15 yards closer with time for one play. Instead, they choose not to review it for whatever reason, and now we will never know what the Cardinals could have done if they were given their full rightful shot.

I agree that the game should not have ended on a play like that, but it probably was a fumble. I would have liked to see it end on a hail mary.

It wasn't a fumble. His arm was moving forward, and it even came out with somewhat of a spiral. The fact that they didn't even stop to review it is the killer.

The teams review the play themselves very quickly and decide if they should challenge the call or not. I don't believe the Card's had any challenges left anyway? :D

which was better the game or the half time show.
Bruce was awesome... i thought it was funny when he slid across stage and into the camera for america to see his crotch.

Can't challenge it within the last two minutes anyways..The review would have to come from the officials in the booth upstairs..

They should've reviewed that BS.

I will say this though: It was one hell of a game on both parts. Congrats Steelers for winning your Record High 6 Superbowls.

That was indeed a good end there. My pick did not win though.

congrats steelers

defense > offense again

i'd expect champs to win with class though. all those unsportsmanlike penalties.... good game though.

in the last 2 minutes of each half, only the booth can call for a review.

to answer your other question, the Cards did have a challenge left at the 2-minute mark.

why the 15 yards? had they ruled it the other way, it would have been an incomplete pass and the Cards would have had another play from the same place.

very interesting to me that after 2 weeks about "can the Steeler defense stop the Cardinals offense?", it turned out it was the Steeler offense that marched down the field in the final 2 minutes and got it done.

massive kudos to the game the Cards played, i'm very impressed with their talent and their poise in coming from behind. their only real mistake at the end was scoring too quickly. very Steeler-like to take the lead with less than a minute left.

btw, i'm a massive Steelers fan, going back to the early 70's. so i'm ecstatic tonight.

You should read Tuesday Morning Quarterback by Gregg Easterbrook on ESPN's page 2 articles. He basically predicted that exact setup about 2 weeks ago. Usually the teams have a major strength in Defense and Offense, and the Superbowl is decided by which team does better with their weakness.

geez...the last 5 minutes were fun!

I only got to see the last minute, and that was damn exciting. Love the game, but 2 small kid and one on they way mean being a Daddy first, and since I don't care greatly for either team, I couldn't bring myself to sit and watch. I did turn it on in another room to check it now and again, but didn't get in there very often tonight.

I was really hoping for a Steelers Figgie and stop and then have the game decided by a coin toss... maybe then the league can start looking at it's overtime rules.
