So - tomorrow is a Thursday, 12 days before the last Tuesday of October. Last year on that similar day (2018-10-18), Apple sent out invitations to an event for the last Tuesday of October (2018-10-30).

So - will Apple announce an October event tomorrow morning? 9AMPST?

I doubt there would be a stage event for a new MacBook Pro (or iPad Pro). These are expected to be iterative updates on existing products.

Rumours are there's a 16" MBP in the works. That's a little less iterative (on the assumption it has a non-butterfly keyboard too) as one doesn't currently exist.

Apple is focused on pushing Apple TV+ right (including their events and screenings happening this month), so my money's still on WWDC being the platform that they announce pro hardware, and show some love to their pro's / developers.

I wouldn't expect any stage time for those features though. Resolution has been increased to 3072x1920. It's still an LCD panel and perhaps they increased the brightness to 600 nits. The keyboard is a regression, so I would expect Apple to gloss over that. There's no way to stand on stage for 60 minutes for that.

Probably holding out till beginning of next year or march with the next keynote, but I think those are usually made for iOS events.
