I like the variations of product lines, but fully understanding yourself can take a lot of research.

For example: nowhere on the Apple website does it say the MBP 13" with 10th Gen Intel processor has a superior speaker system and dual cooling fans, resulting in better thermals. If functional differences like these were made clear to the customer, they would be able to make much more informed decisions.

I find the compare feature on Apple's website useful, though. It has all the differentiation details Apple wants to release and makes it quite simple to understand at a glance the differences between devices.

Are you kidding me? The 11 is a 10 with an updated camera. Literally nothing changed except the cameras and performance. The 11 is a 10s

Analysts are always talking about iPhone supercycles. Is iPhone 12 supposed to be a supercycle update? And does it mean that it will take a next full supercycle to get rid of the notch?

Or iPhone 12 (or 11s) is not a supercycle?

That’s a good question. I mean, they released the iPhone 8 / 8 Plus then the X over a month later.

Then they released the XS first and the XR after.

Then they released the 11 & 11 Pro at the same time. Not sure what the best strategy is.

Not sure how it will be with 6.1” pro but the 6.7” pro will reportedly have same sized notch as other 12 models *however* more space on the top as the phones are a bit wider than previous gen in addition to the larger display size, and the Pro 12 models also will have thinner bezels than the current 11 Pro series (regular 12 series will be similar bezel to current 11 *Pro* phones, all thinner than XR/11)

So, tldr; will be able to display more information as a result. Some leakers on twitter have said it will be able to show battery percent for example

I cannot WAIT to get the 6.7” 12 Pro. Seeing the batter percentage will make me feel so good Lol.

Darn it! i'm going to be waiting for the Pro model for a long time now UGH!!!!

Nah I’m anticipating mid-late October! No way it will release in November. Won’t be that long. Just order as soon as it goes on sale.

120Hz display on a phone won’t really do much, unless you want to show off the unusually fast can’t be read scrolling at that rate to friends and brag. It is nothing but pure tech specs on a phone.

All these years you have lived without the tech spec feature and all of a sudden, it is a can’t live with out feature. And if you don’t get it, Apple is pathetic. Not very logical thinking. If you want the latest and greatest regardless of integration ability and practically, Samsung might be your better choice.

same imagine no 50x zoom, no 120Hz refresh rate, then what is this phone about to brag, new chassis, better camera, faster processor? there’s no innovation anymore i read some rumors the 50x is coming to iphone on 2022 wth!
