1. In general, what would you like to see on the iPhone as an application?
---Be able to interface with a physical, traveling, keyboard to make taking notes really feasable.
---The ability to open new websites in background tabs, and for tabs to stay loaded until closed or refreshed.
---TiVo Remote and remote (as in being somewhere else) TiVo programmer
---

2. With the High Technology Accelerometer, beside a game what would you like to see this be used as?
--It could be used as a novel way to pan around on the internet. The key would be to make it not that sensitive, and able to turn on and off, but it would make the experience like looking at a larger screen because your hands would coordinate with where you focus your eyes. This could also be used to move between pictures, etc.
---Game controller for other platforms like a computer.

3. The iPhone's two mega pixel camera takes amazing pictures, but what else would you like to see this used for?
---Instant blogging, twittering, or posting news to sites like CNN's ireporters. ---The ability to stream video live from an event.
---Taking a picture of text and then converting it into a text format.
---Taking pictures of items and prices and then sending them to a central site (something like froogle or another website that aggregates shopping).

4. In a short sentence describe yourself with technology in your life.
---Technology is a means to streamlining my accomplishing goals.

5. Out of every single tech device on the market, what is your favorite and why?
---Probably the ipod touch for its media capabilities and internet connectivity.

Because the launch date of apps is the same it is going to be ironic when dozens of groups launch very similar programs. This isn't a problem with other platforms because they have already been open to developers and when they started had much less market share, but imagine in late June 60 versions of iphone as computer trackpad or 90 to-do lists com out.

1. In general, what would you like to see on the iPhone as an application?

An app that can turn the iPhone into a remote for iTunes and possibly Front Row. You should be able to browse your library right from the iPhone and be able to control wether it should be played over AirTunes.

2. With the High Technology Accelerometer, beside a game what would you like to see this be used as?

I'm not sure. I think shaking the phone to move to the next song might be useful in the above-mentioned app idea.

3. The iPhone's two mega pixel camera takes amazing pictures, but what else would you like to see this used for?

Videos.

4. In a short sentence describe yourself with technology in your life.

My life pretty much relies on technology for personal organization, media management, and school

5.
Out of every single tech device on the market, what is your favorite and why?

Tough, but I'd have to say the iPhone. I think it changed my life more than any other piece of technology.

1. In general, what would you like to see on the iPhone as an application?

An application that allows me to sync my subscribed podcasts while on the road. My iTunes library is on my iMac at home. When I travel I get behind on all of my podcasts. I want the iPhone to be able to keep them current and have it reconcile with my iTunes when I return home.

2. With the High Technology Accelerometer, beside a game what would you like to see this be used as?

Not particularly interested in games.

3. The iPhone's two mega pixel camera takes amazing pictures, but what else would you like to see this used for?

No suggestions.

4. In a short sentence describe yourself with technology in your life.

I am a "first adopter", have to have the latest cool gadget.

5. Out of every single tech device on the market, what is your favorite and why?

iPhone. Enough said.

Full office suite (Word processor as a minimum) with web based storage like google docs so you can work anywhere and on any PC/Mac.

App to use iphone/touch as a digital Picture frame so when you are away or at work you can have pictures display to remind you of home or whatever.

Can the accelerometer do dah be used as an alarm say for a hotel room door or even a bag ie if it detects movement it goes off or rings someone. You would touch the screen to turn it off.

An email reminder app whereby it would tell list outstanding emails (not the inbox) but just a list so you can see easily without having to filter views" eg You haven't replied to so and so and you could either tell it to stop reminding you about so and so, go to the email with a reply or remind me later or block any future emails. As your inbox fills up its easy to miss emails as they scroll off the screen.

A regional info dashboard which uses cell triangulation or better still GPS to give you at a glance info on local time, time at your home town (and whatever places you input) , the exchange rate, a quick ready reckoner and other local info which would be useful. Great for international traveling or differant time zones eg we have about 4 time zones in Australia.

I do a lot of business travelling and need a PDA/phone/life line all in one uber gadget I can use anywhere in the world-IT MUST BE 3G

Here are my suggestions for what I'd like to see:

1. GPS add-on cradle to plug into in the car.

2. App to tag photo as its taken with latitude/longitude from cell location.

3. Produce standard GPS track/log file with lat/long data from cell location at specified time interval (30 secs, 60 secs, 2 mins, 5 mins, etc.)

4. Game based on "Lost Cities" card game - playable as 1 player or 2 players over internet/text message.

5. VNC application that works well/easily.

6. Bar code reader integrated with camera - log bar codes scanned for later purchase, show best prices on net, show Amazon price.

7. Video recording

Id say technology plays the biggest role in my life. School, work, socializing have all been focused around the latest Tech.

5. Out of every single tech device on the market, what is your favorite and why?

My iPhone, hands down. Best phone I've ever owned, best gadget i've ever had. Theres things I can do now that I never could have done in the past and would freak out if I couldn't do them anymore.

1. In general, what would you like to see on the iPhone as an application?
RSS Reader, absolutely.
ma.gnolia/del.icio.us bookmark client for easy access to all of my bookmarks
IM
Text Editor (you probably won't be doing TextMate Lite, but that doesn't mean I don't want it)
Terminal (for SSHing to servers)
FTP Client
Mini photo editor/drawing app

2. With the High Technology Accelerometer, beside a game what would you like to see this be used as?
Could be implemented with any app to give a widescreen viewpoint when applicable. only other thing I can think of is breakout/pinball

3. The iPhone's two mega pixel camera takes amazing pictures, but what else would you like to see this used for?

probably won't use the camera. I have a pretty good one already.

4. In a short sentence describe yourself with technology in your life.
I'm a web developer. When I'm not near a computer, I'm sleeping. My iPod spends most of its time in my pocket, I pretty much always carry my laptop with me. I don't know whether it's a bad thing, but my whole life literally revolves around my computer.

5. Out of every single tech device on the market, what is your favorite and why?
My Macbook Pro - it does everything I want and need. I'd find it very difficult to live without it.

1. In general, what would you like to see on the iPhone as an application?

The ability to plug it in to any mac and use it similarly to the new multi-touch interface trackpad. Add a certain finger motion and suddenly it becomes a numerical keypad for laptop users without one. Or becomes a customizable gaming keypad (think integration with world of warcraft as an example). Bonus points if it uses bluetooth to connect. Double bonus points if it functions as a front row remote/apple tv remote. Think integration. Your iphone interfaces smoothly with all mac products.

2. With the High Technology Accelerometer, beside a game what would you like to see this be used as?

I like the idea of a pedometer that has been previously been suggested.

3. The iPhone's two mega pixel camera takes amazing pictures, but what else would you like to see this used for?

Bar code scanner/database.

5.
Out of every single tech device on the market, what is your favorite and why?

Tie between the iPhone and my homebrew-abled PSP. The user experience (interface, ease of use) is great with the iPhone, while the PSP is acting well as a PS3 expander (remote turn-on. Remote play of PS1 games and a few PS3 games). If we could get the iphone to become the mac expander, tying together all my other mac products, I'd be giddy.

I'd just like to say, it'd be really cool if you could have all those fancy picture effects for the camera. Identical to the ones that the iMacs have.

I.E. Swirle, Blur, Thermal, Sepia, Black & White, Glow, Comic Book, X-Ray, etc.

OK so here an idea that hasn't been mentioned yet.

Now I'm a web developer and my boss and most clients are very picky when it comes to colour. So what do I do? I take allong my powerbook running art directors toolkit. A nice pice of software that let's you view various colour swatches and pantone formula allong with many other different uses.

So what if all these colour swatches were placed into a directory on iPhone to create an ultra portable swatch library to show clients.

Swatches could be placed into general colour catagories such as reds/blues etc for fast finding or maybe a search tool to find specific hexdecimal/RGB colours.

Colours could be added to a client portfolio for later viewing/references and to give them an overall view of colour schemes.

A shake of the iPhone could mix/remove colours from their portfolios.

I hope you can see what I mean and consider developing an app such as this. I would deffininatly buy it. What better way to work with a client by showing off our beautiful shiny iphone's :D

BTW do you guys have a website?

Voice Recorder

I need voice recorder badly. some sort of app that uses the built in mic to capture the voice in good quality and compresses it to store on the phone. If the recordings cannot be incorprorated into the ipod function on iphone directly, you should be able to do it manually when you sync ur phone.

Make videos and be able to put it on youtube directly from ur iphone.

How about a text messaging client. Each subscriber is assigned a number to which their friends can send text messages. I bet people would be more than willing to pay a small monthly fee if its unlimited and and has features that the native sms app lacks.
