Apple's being the big schoolyard bully lately. There's some things I really respect about them (LGBT rights, good repair policies for accidental damage, stores in big cities with free high speed WiFi) but I sold my iPhone 4S and bought a Galaxy Nexus. Yes, it's UGLY in comparison but my phone stays in a case 99% of the time. Functionally, it's actually a lot nicer than my iPhone was. And they bear NO resemblance to each other whatsoever.

And you should be respected for your interests...but now, the same question you asked in earlier times, why hang out on an Apple site and criticize Apple if you are a happy Galaxy Nexus owner. Maybe a lot of time on your hands?

These kind of posts always reminds me of a guy who used to go into the chevy dealer across Figueroa from USC weekly and tell them how lousy their cars were and walk out the door with a smirk on his face, having made his contribution to society. They said he had been doing this for a long long time.

Are you replying to anyone in particular because I haven't seen many people defending Apple in this thread, it's a mistake on their part to copy a copywritten design. Seems to me you're just here to troll and use your fanboy comments with no real basis.

Unlike the Fandroids, you'll notice that most the responses here support the idea this is a ripoff and Apple needs to fix it (and I agree entirely).

Point out an obvious ripoff on the Android side of the equation and the Fandroids will fall on their swords defending it.

There's really no dispute here, but c'mon, a clock face? Are we going to start accusing Maxis of copying Sherwin-Williams' wallpaper because there's a similar shade of blue in the Sims?

Apple has brought this on themselves by being sue happy and have made a lot of enemies even outside the phone world. They deserve everything they get.
