So what is the verdict on this case? Are the fitting issues affecting only those with a 3G or is it happening to those with a WiFi as well? How about grip? Some call it slippery, but Psychonaut's video indicates otherwise. What I'd like is something that adds some grip/texture like the Incipio Feather, but is also clear, like this case (I'm not sure I like the iPad version of the Feather). Does that exist? I've done a lot of research about this case, but I keep coming across info that contradicts what I thought was true.

Love mine, have had it 2 weeks so far and even went on vacation with me to Ireland for 10 days (I live in CA). I have the wifi ipad, fits perfect... No weird edges or anything. Slighty slick, but not worse than the naked ipad. Well worth the 30 bucks for the case, screen protector, dock covers and groovy compact stands.

Hate mine. It's a terrible fit on my wifi iPad. Poor finish too. I've been promised a refund but we seem to have a week lag between emails so who knows if I'll get it. And now that my 2wk old iPod case has developed a crack, I'm kinda put off Switch Easy. My wife's iPhone feather seems much better made. I'm waiting for round two.

anybody else finding that this case scratched their ipad????? i actually like it.. but i got so worried that it might scratch my ipad that i went back to my now YELLOW belkin grip vue!!! but as far as fit and finish go, my switcheasy nude is just fine...

i am tempted to get a zagg invisibleshield and put the nude onto of it.. that way, i can be sure it wont scratch my ipad!! but i had it on there for a whole day before i checked ipad for scratches... not a single scratch on my ipad so far...

I’ve had mine for about 2 weeks and haven’t noticed any scratches on the iPad yet. My switcheasy has scratched, but I expected that because I set my iPad down on its back all the time. There are also some scratches on the inside top of the case. I think it’s from the case making contact with the iPad there. I take the case on and off pretty regularly to clean, because I’ve noticed — easily since I have a clear case — that dust and tiny debris manages to creep in between the case and the iPad.

It seems like in theory a large piece of debris could get in there and cause scratching, but that’s going to happen with any case that’s not completely sealed.

The fit is not correct. After 3 replacements I came to the conclusion that they are all the same. They know of the issue and supposedly are making a new version to have abetter fit.

The edges are rough and for $30 for a pc of plastic it should be better finished.

Maybe you guys are okay with it. But the company has IMHO not handled the service end of it well (my experience).

They should have done more testing and finalized the product better before rushing it to market.

Well, have to say as a UK buyer waiting patiently until friday, I fell in love with these cases right away, OK a few disgruntled customers, but again heard customer support was good.

However, having saved the cash for a purchase on there euro site of €29.99, I was shocked to then see an extra €9.99 for postage, no way on gods earth I'm I paying an extra 10 euro's for postage.

I contacted them also to express my extreme disappointment, they actually replied there shipping was actually only €3, well turns out the nude package falls just 1g over, and has to have a bigger shipping band, but 10 euro's more, come on.

I really want one of these, but not worth that much.
Does anyone know were I can buy one of these nude hard cases for my Ipad, but from the UK or with a dam site better postage?/

They charge you 7 euros in taxes and 3 euros in shipping. So either way, you are still paying that 10 euros. I'm at 12 days after raising issues with my iPad Nude, and am still waiting on the promised refund.

Still 10 extra, which I think is a tad overpriced, considering the case is around £26, does sound though customer support maybe not as good as I had heard.

Do you expect SE to control the price which the delivery company charges
I've seen them on Ebay UK, maybe you can get one from there instead

Personally, I'd recommend waiting. The case doesn't fit well, and any pictures I've seen of alleged good fitting cases don't look that great to me. It seems like it needs a bit of an adjustment at the top face, and I'm sure they are already working on a phase two version. I'd wait for that.

Not really mate, just that in today's extreme competitive markets, with more and more "free postage"popping up, a charge of €10 euros is a bit of a shock.
Ans subsequently, has stopped me buying one

Got my replacement ultraclear case yesterday and it too suffers from the rough edges and mark on the top. I emailed switcheasy to see if theres a known issue with these cases or a bad batch and this was their reply:

After our investigation of the NUDE (UltraClear) for iPad again, it may have some unclear marks on the surface of individual cases due to the manufacturing process or the packaging process. Thus, there are two options for you:

1/ You can have the refund after you send two cases to our company.
2/ We can offer you another replacement. You can choose other colours of the case except the UltraClear colour.

Don't understand why so many negative reviews.

I have the Ultra Clear and White, and both have excellent fit & finish.

This thread needs more pics!!!

Have you (or anybody else on this thread) used the free screen protector yet? I havent installed mine yet but was considering it (and saving the 30 bucks a Powersupport or SGP would cost me)

Thanks for the pics Smacky, they kind of reassure me. I returned mine on arrival without even opening it up the other day as they're supposedly coming out with a 3G version soon. Also, looks like the fit isn't so great along the top, as everyone has been saying in this thread.

PS - is that a PowerSupport anti-glare? :)

Nah I went with the Switcheasy antiglare, I created a thread with some close up pics

See, to me those pics highlight one of my main issues - look at the one showing the top face: At the corners the case is flush with the face of the ipad, but in the middle it dips down a few millimetres. Aside from being a bit unsightly, it's this top face where mine has started to move around - suggesting that this poor fit is causing grip issues. I'll wait for a new model, still awaiting my refund which I'm promised was to come yesterday. Probably pop my current case in the bin tonight.

The dimensions are the same between the 3G and Wi-Fi Only iPads. Besides I have a 3G and I have one of the early batches. The fit is fine.

I sent mine back and they refunded my boyfriend's PayPal account quite quickly.

FYI for anyone wondering, I didn't send back the stands or screen protector. I had used the SP, lost a stand, and given the other to a friend. Doesn't seem like they cared. I figured if it mattered they would refuse my refund.

My white one finally came in, about to check it out now. As a bonus, my Waterfield Suede Jacket also came in. However, I almost didn't notice it since it came in a package not much bigger than a regular envelope.
jedolley— Does iPad with SwitchEasy NUDE fit too snugly in WaterField Suede Jacket? Is Suede Jacket beginning to get loose? Do the pull loops seem fragile? What are your impressions of iPad with NUDE inside Suede Jacket?

I'm looking for a replacement for Wrappers UK, who seems to be out of business and unable to fulfill orders. I'm looking for a thin protective sleeve for iPad and am really curious about WaterField's new Suede and Slip cases since I've been really happy with the three other bulkier WaterField Ultimate Sleeves for my Apple laptops. For iPad, I want something much thinner, and it looks like WaterField might be best. Did you consider any other sleeves?
