I cancelled my pre-order with play, despite waiting for 2 months and them fulfilling some orders, mine wasn't one of them! (black iPhone case)

I ordered direct from Switcheasy in German and received my case in 3 days, shipping was only 3€.

The case looks brilliant, it's so thin it's like there's no case at all!

Yeah, the iPhone/iPod casing is in a totally different league to the iPad casing. I love my iPod nude. Hate my iPad nude.

ps. After emailing SE some photos they're back to ignoring emails again, or else they have a monster backlog of complaints. Who knows.

Just got this clumsily worded reply from SwitchEasy:

Dear Steve

The current version is still a Perfect fit for 90 % of our 3G & Wifi
iPad users but to eliminate the irregularities that happens on the
fitting when an antenna is being installed on a 3G model we applied a
greater "forgiving" of the upcoming case.

We are expecting a new and more compatible case to be coming out very soon,
hopefully by the end of the month, but there are not guarantees to this date or
exact time of arrival. Keep an eye on our site for availability. We
hope to serve
you very soon!

I asked for a return policy. If there is seriously another case coming out within the next few weeks, I will return this one.

I started out by getting an Invishield for the front of my iPad, and then ordered a suede cover/stand, only to get an email saying that my order was canceled because they couldn't get the cover. I in turn ordered a teal colored nude to protect the back. I love it, but I might end up selling. I just got another email this afternoon saying that my suede cover/stand has shipped (funny, I thought they cancelled my order). The cover work the same way the nude does, so I can't really use both. I guess I will wait for the cover arrive, and try it out. Either way, I will probably be selling one or the other for a good price if anyone wants to call dibs.

When I hold mine in landscape, the case has started flexing off the iPad around the power button area now. This is truly one of the poorest fitting cases ever. I'm now back to being ignored by SE too. Never again.

Got my ultraclear today and it too has rough edges and the mark at the top. I don't have my iPad yet to test the fit but I sent an email to switcheasy to complain. I was hoping I might get a decent one, looks like I was wrong. Wondering if I'll be ignored too...

My case does this too. Too much play in that area.

I am awaiting a replacement. Will see if the fit is any better this time.

I had a strange string fo emails with them. Finally got some resolve but i really had to lean in heavy to make things right. 3 different people all answering the same email and giving out different answers. It was really a sad transaction all around.

No, many are basically reporting the same thing. Lousy fit and sharp edges. They are willing to send replacements but the replacements do the same thing.

The edges are not sharp or anything, there is a mark at the top edge where it has been cut from the moulding, but I suspect that with a very very fine grit sandpaper I will be able to smooth this down so that it is not visible at all. Looking forward to trying it out on release day

I actually ordered it with the same thing in mind: the fit is hit or miss and mainly a problem with the 3g ipad, but I have the wifi..

The sharp edges could be sanded down (if need be) and then you still have the thinest most unobstrusive case for the ipad out there..

I paid 50 for my belkin grip vue and now it is yellow and nasty looking.. I will complain to belkin and hopefully get a refund or a new grip vue that I could sell for $30... or keep if im not happy with the nude

This is a terrible picture, but the best I can do with my iPhone (I'm at the airport). You can see a larger nick to the left, those go the whole length of the top and bottom. There's also some smaller ones you can see across the edge. The pics don't show much, but...

That must be annoying. Obviously it is reasonable to expect that a case should not cause any damage, whether large or small.

That's the biggest bummer. My iPad would probably be better off if I had never put the thing on in the first place!

I guess it back to the Griffin Vue, though I may try the iFrogz

Has anyone else experiences scratches on their ipad from the switcheasy nude?????? I was going to give it a shot but now I reaaally need to know if this was an isolated incident or if it is happening to everyone....

People please make sure that you check your iPad for scratches before using a case. Also clean your iPad before.

I did both. It is clearly caused by the loose fit of the case at the top edge. The scratches are worse where it would "pop."

I ordered my UltraClear Nude the day after they went up for sale and I've had no issues with mine on my WiFi model...is anyone else not having any problems and loving there case as well?? Just wondering if its an issue of simple bad quality control...As were probably all previous Switcheasy fans, this seems rather odd of them to simply ignore.

I didn't clean my iPad first, and have been using my teal nude until today when I got Macally cover/stand. No scratches or anything else unusual.

I have had mine for just over 2 weeks now and have taken it off and on many times.. no scratches.

I'm on my second replacement and the fit is a joke. It is loose along the left and right hand sides when in landscape mode.

This product was rushed to market. If they have an iPad on hand they should be ab,e to make adjustments to the mold and bring the case in closer on the edges.

For $30 for a pc of plastic i expect better qc and fit. Otherwise this case should sell for closer to $20.

I just requested a refund, since it seems like they have not shipped it. I also want a refund for the shipping they charged me too, if it hasn't shipped.

Based my decision on the overwhelmingly negative impressions in this thread...gonna go with a Zagg Invisible Shield Back.
