I LOVE Switcheasy. I owned several cases from them for my 3G & 3GS. But I feel like they dropped the ball on this one. I was hoping to see the RebelSerpent for the 4. I think I'll wait on it. I have a Grovemade Bamboo case arriving in a few weeks.

let me(or us) know how the grovemade bamboo case is !!

not sure how accurate the pictures are but judging by the side shots, the switcheasy still exposes the front screen, while the ivyskin has a lip.

just by this, i'd prefer the ivyskin.

"When you mean front lip do you mean an extra thickness around the bezel to lay the phone on it's screen? If that's what you mean am afraid no, the case is the same concept as the last nude, but is just as good and even better : ).

Yea this is unfortunate as otherwise it appears to be the perfect case. I believe the edge of that glass is going to bite a lot of people if not protected.

This is why I am nervous about the nude +SP combo.

Just visited their FB page, and I found out that the case might not fit the iPhone if it has the InvisibleShield/BSE skin on the back. My iPhone has the full body skin and along the antenna edge. I'm disappointed. I hope they will be able to cancel my order before it ships.

yes, I did. Unfortunately. It's because I realized the site is located in China so there's no phone numbers whatsoever. And the lady running the FB page doesn't even work with SE at all. So our only means of contact is through the contact form on their site. There's also the sales email on your paypal receipt too. I emailed and tried to get them to cancel my order, but I have no response yet. =( I'm getting really nervous now.

Edit. Here's their response;

Ugh should've done my research before purchasing the case, I'm disappointed. I'm crossing my fingers I hear from them soon before the item ships. Otherwise it's going back.

Oh, thanks for the info ^ What a bummer. I haven't installed any skins yet but I have a Wrapsol on the way. I guess I won't install the back or sides until I'm bored of the Nude case and move onto something else. But no way am I cancelling my order, it's just too beautiful to pass up.

I cannot tell if the Ivy Skin case has the lip. I guess we will have to wait until people post pictures of them to compare.

Just got my shipment notification from FedEx. I think their Facebook page also mentions that it will be shipping immediately. Anxious to see it in person but without the iPhone 4 even being announced here (Canada) it may be a while to see it in action.

I wouldn't use any film with the case and I'm debating about whether this will scratch the steel or glass back. I'll be using this while I wait two months for my Vaja case if I decide to buy it.

Apparently you aren't very experienced with multiple cases.

Some of them, despite their claims, scratch up the iPhone. And you won't know/realize this until after the damage is done.

Because with MOST cases there will be dust and crap that get inside the case and scratch the heck out of the phone. Is that still ridiculous to you? If this hurts your brain, than I just feel sad for you...

Yeah, they are protected enough. How would your phone have to land to hit the buttons when they are recessed like this? Scratches possibly but not impact damage.

I guess it is just because they have already spent money on the skin and they are satisfied with the result. They might want a nice case to be their option. but they dont want to trash the shield as well. Is anything wrong with that?

It HAS happened. What is so difficult about this to believe? This was what everyone said with their 3G/3GS and then they have a post here crying how the back should be "unscratchable."

Has anyone gotten a shipping confirmation yet? I'm probably guessing it's going to ship tomorrow. I never ordered from them before, so I'm not sure how long they process the order and ship it. I would love to have this by the weekend, but I doubt it. I can't wait to receive mine though! Excited.

I ordered mine as soon as iLounge posted its First Look, but I still haven't received a confirmation. Though I'm basing this on absolutely no empirical data, I'm sure that Switcheasy will notify us/ship the cases soon!
