Keep in mind the 3G/3GS was plastic, and that scratched easily. The same thing happened to my iPod 5.5G in a hard palstic case, but the front of that is plastic. The only way the phone would get scratched by dust getting in the case is if there is relative movement between the phone and the case. Also, most dust is usually dead skin (yummm!) or pieces of linens or pieces of food. Of those three things, none of them should scratch toughened glass very easily. Unless you get sand or actual dirt that may have minerals or particles that are as hard or harder than the glass would it get scratched easily. This happened with my iPhone 4 at the beach last weekend-- I was very careful to keep sand away from the screen, but nonetheless there was a nearly imperceptible scratch on the screen glass.
Plus, Switcheasy cases are known to fit pretty well, so the amount of crap that gets inside it might be minimal.
SE only has the email address and that contact form on their site (click on "Contact Us" link). Just be sure to copy your paypal receipt into the contact box (or forward them the receipt) and let them know your problem. Unfortunately they dont have a phone number for some reason. It's really annoying but on the bright side, they're pretty quick in answering emails.
I emailed them last night and got a response this morning, they said they're going to try to cancel my order but it's not guaranteed. You can try shooting them an email and see if they could cancel it. I suggest emailing them NOW since they're already preparing shipments.

Do you even have an iPhone 4? Its glass faces are cool and all, but I just like to keep mine in great condition. IS for scratches plus case for drop protection. How is that anal?
Which color did you order? I ordered clear and it was shipped from China this morning via FedEx. Tracking info shows tomorrow being the delivery date, for $15 to Canada that's quite impressive. Espicially after paying nearly $10 more on shipping from Power Support for ground shipping on a single screen protector.
I ordered a white one yesterday. I have not heard anything from them yet. Just emailed them this morning to cancel my order after I heard it wont fit with wrapsol/BSE/whatever skins. No reply for that either.
I'm not too sure why people are returning it and canceling orders because of the wrapsol/IS issue. The last nude was the exact same thing, no lay on the table design an it wouldn't fit right with a skin. I understand that people like their phones to be in mint condition, I do too.
However with that being said, on my 3GS I had an incase slider on it. All that I did was take the case off about once a week to clean it and the back of the phone. I agree that this is a hassle, but it's not that hard to do. My phone was kept in perfect right out of the box condition even with the prone to scratching slider on it.

As I mentioned, I already put wrapsol film on my phone. The front and side are not good, so I pulled them off and will install a BSE film when I get it. However, the back side is perfect, so I would like to keep it.
the nude case is a hard case. I did google it. Somebody scratched their 3gs by using it. So I think probably a skin is helpful to prevent this happen on the new iphone 4.
Well, I got my refund from SwitchEasy today. I just checked my email and they refunded me around 10:30 AM PDT. When Paypal gets my money off the hold I'll put it towards another case instead.

The 3GS back is plastic, a lot easier to scratch than glass. As long as you don't get sand in there I don't think you'd have anything to worry about.
for those with wrapsol, here's a response i got from switcheasy when i asked how the nude would work with wrapsol back skin:
it should work because the texture I was told is a lot less slippery or orange peel feel to it unlike the BSE or Zagg, I wouldn't guarantee you won't get any inside scratches but you're using it at your own risk, however I don't see why it wouldn't work ; )

Ordered mine yesterday afternoon, e-mailed them asking if I could switch color 5 minutes after I ordered and received an e-mail this morning saying that they could not do it. Received an e-mail later this morning with my USPS shipping confirmation number. Coming from California to NewYork so hopefully early next week.
