Good point. I did notice this too. Good because it's not impossible to get out of pockets, but also could be dangerous if you are clumsy, like myself

On the whole, I do like it!

Mine is suppose to arrive today. Did you guys use the front and back protector that it's suppose to come with? I was just curious if this case would cause any scratches at all. I will see for myself soon I guess.

I will use the back just because it was included. If I don't like it I can always install one from xtreme guards. The front will be covered with my mediadevil matte/clear

Here are some more shots. Not as good quality since I used my i5 this time rather than the dSLR.

Just got mine and put it on. I'm not a case guy so this is going to take some getting use to. The iPhone 5 is such a beautiful phone I hate to cover it with this hunk of plastic. Then on the other hand I am scared to go without some type of protection after hearing the stories about how easily it can get dinged up. I'm going to try it out for a few days and see how it goes.

I am using a Moshi on the front and the one included in the package on the back. I already scratched my screen within the first few days with my earring so I have to use a screen protector.

Ordered the white one 5 days ago and it arrived today, pretty quick compared to what I was expecting. According to this thread though, it seems like SwitchEasy is using different shipping methods to deliver their cases...people mentioned tracking from UPS and FedEx, but mine was sent in one of those yellow bubble envelopes via USPS mail (priority.)

Anyways, cool case, still have to wait for the white iPhone to come before I put it on but first impression is that it's much slimmer than I expected. For some reason, it looked to me in images a little bulky but in actuality, the form factor is very similar to the thin Diztronic that I have.

I hate to report this because it seems like I am always saying something bad about this case but honestly I DO like it.. I gave it a 4 out of 5 in one of my reviews however....

I just got my Lightning to 30-Pin Adapter with 0.2 cable attached the $39 one from apple and the bad news is it does not work with the Tones case.

I have no idea why but Apple made the surrounding plastic around the lightning connector larger on the adapter cable vs. the USB to lightning cable which causes the fit to no longer work.

yeah, after seeing the iLounge picture of the adapter, i figured that would be the case. it isn't going to work with quite a few cases.
it doesn't affect me because i don't really need it.

So irritated by this. It makes no sense.

I'm sure Apple's reasoning and solution would be something along the lines of: "The iPhone doesn't need a case, so to fix this, just don't use a case if you need to use the adapter."

Does anyone have pics of the white with the blue marks on it from jeans ans been reported in this forum.

I've had my white case for about a week and noticed some discoloration today on the grey "grippy" parts. I washed the case with soap and warm water, which helped a bit but I'm mostly concerned about keeping the case looking clean with extended use.

Here are some photos for you to have a look:

All corners are slightly discolored, but the visible corner on the right of the photo is most obvious. This photo was taken after my attempt to clean the case.

You can see the discoloration in all corners and the bottom edge of the case (left side of photo). Also, note, that I removed the black outline around the camera hole because it began to chip and I thought that it looked better without the outline. I used an alcohol swab to wipe it off completely.

I like the case a lot and would love if it didn't have this minor issue. I would buy the case again if SwitchEasy used a different material for the gray part of the case—maybe make it less "grippy".

Hey all, I ordered my Switcheasy Tones case and it should be here sometime this week. For those of you that got it and used the complimentary screen covers, do they work well? I had a chip on my iPhone's screen out of the box, so I just received my replacement, and I have my replacement Zagg in the mail, so if the screen cover that comes with the case is any good, I can just return the zagg screen. So, how is the screen cover?

I'd say the SwitchEasy screen protectors are better than Zaggs but not quite as good as say a Spigen or Power Support, so somewhere in between.

Good luck keeping the material clean. I used to have the white reveal case for my iphone 4 and it was impossible for me to keep it looking white.

Thinking about doing this...can you confirm that taking pictures with/without flash isn't negatively affected when you rub the black ring off?

I wasn't under the impression that the black outline had a functional purpose and I haven't/can't make comparisons between the previous state of my case and the current state. However, I haven't had any issues taking photos with or without flash.

I got mine yesterday and have to be honest, I don't like it as much as a couple of cheapie rubberized eBay cases or the Diztronic. Based on all the comments and reviews I've read, I got what I expected; however, I do not like the top edge next to the screen. It's course and I don't like the way it feels when I drag my fingers around on the screen.

It certainly offers more protection than the rubberized cases, but my guess is the Diztronic will provide a similar level of protection in the event of a drop. I'll keep it just to change things up every now and then, but for normal day-to-day use, I'm going to stick with my $5.95 eBay cheapies.

I have been looking for an iPhone 5 case for some time now. I find a majority of the options incredibly ugly but this one isn't bad. I like the fact that it kind of follows Apple's design with the two toned back.

What is Switcheasy's shipping like? Only problem is I need it by Saturday. I'm going to be traveling and I want it before I leave town. Any chance it could get to Texas by then?

Mine took over a week to come , and it looks like everyone had shipping delays so I doubt you would get it by the weekend
