Does anyone know whether you can get more than one "referral" from different people to get more $$ off?? Or no?

I am going to be switching over to AT&T from Verizon with a family plan (4 people... most likely all getting iPhones) and could use all the discounts I can get, but I don't quite understand this....

Why would people who ARE REFERRED get the money. Shouldn't it be the people who are DOING the referring??? And how is the discount transferred to the new customer from the existing customer?

If anyone could explain this better or give me their $25 credit I would greatly appreciate it.

AND... Can you use more than one "referral", to get say, $50 off????

If you read their site, it says:
Every time you refer a friend or family member, who activates new, qualifying AT&T wireless service, we will reward each of you with your own $25 AT&T gift card.

I wondered the same thing, but I guess both parties get it.

I still have all 5 if people need them, PM me or email: gibbz at ou dot edu

How exactly does this work? Do you get an e-mail from AT&T or something? And would you need my name or my mother's name (she will be the main account holder since i am 17.)

I would love a discount. :D

I'm confused. It seems like the $25 gift card is only for the person handing out the referrals. It doesn't mention on that link that new members will also be getting one too.

AT&T sends the new member an e-mail saying;
Dear (You),

(Referrer) tells us you may be interested in AT&T service.

Here's (Referrer's) message to you:

(Referrer's message)

(You), here's why you should activate new AT&T service now:

AT&T will send both you and (Referrer) a $25 gift card. You can use it for something new from the AT&T store, or just put it toward your bill. Either way, it works like money.
You will also get all of the following great benefits:
ALLOVERTM NETWORK - You will be on the largest digital voice and data network in America, giving you access to over 57 million people.

Unlimited Mobile to Mobile - You and (Referrer) can talk to each other on your mobile phones without using your anytime minutes. It really can keep your bills down.

Rollover® - Keep your unused Anytime Minutes from month to month for up to 12 months. No other provider offers that.

No long-distance or roaming fees - ever!
Most important, we've spent $6.6 billion on our network in the last year. Now, we have the fewest dropped calls of any wireless provider. An independent research company proved it!

To get your $25 AT&T gift card, all you have to do is sign up for new AT&T service on a $39.99 per month or higher rate plan and register for the Refer-A-Friend online referral within a maximum of 30 days of your service activation date. It's that simple!

PM me your first and last name and email address got 5 referral left
:D have a nice weekend

I feel bad picking a particular person out of this thread to PM about a referral with so many offering, so... someone shoot me an email with one I'll use whoever is first; that way I can ease my dissonance about it ;)
