I don't know. It would be vaguely encouraging if so.
Well, from what I’ve heard, most of the glitches that were in that video have been resolved.
As for peoples opinions on the application, I must say that the Internet complaints about it have seemed to have gotten very quiet over the past couple months, maybe because it’s gotten better, maybe because people have realized that it’s literally just a Settings app, maybe because much like every time Apple changes something, after you use it for five minutes you’ll never think about it again.

I hope so.

Well I hoped someone would chime in to say whether this stuff was definitely fixed. Not looking at the preferences very often is no excuse to let Apple off the hook on fixing the UI stuff.

Does anyone have an actual link to said video?
The link to the Video is in the original post from MacRumors, but here it is on Twitter:

Also, yes, this video was taken earlier on in the beta process, and most issues have been "resolved". I'm using air quotes because "Resolved" just means the UI bugs have been addressed (for the most part). I'm still able to click around within the Settings app and see NOTHING change or move to whatever section I've clicked on. And the organization is still below par compared to the years & years we've all had getting used to the System Preferences app prior to Ventura. At least prior, there was a way to organize alphabetically or categorically. No more. There were also items in System Preferences that were seemingly just dumped into "General" instead of populating their own section (as has been the "norm" for MANY years). Maybe if searching within System Settings was as consistent as searching within System Preferences, things could be better...

I think the lack of talk or complaints about the new System Settings app is due to either a sense of defeat or just people getting used to a different type of mess.

Yeah that's not happening anymore. Other things like cut off 'Done' buttons have been fixed too. Don't have time right now to go through everything.

I saved for years ... am so upset with Mac OS 24inch desktop 2021. $2000 gone, and feeling so foolish ... I just need a ‘working’ pc; what a waste : (
Is this a serious post? What is not working. I have had every beta of Ventura and 0 problems - 0. System settings works just fine, most complainers simply don't like the changed UI, everything works just fine, with search it is easy to find. Not seeing what the complainers don't like, other than it is different

As the others have posted here noted, wut

I've got a 2020 M1 MBP and a 2018 Intel Mac mini, both have been running various betas, now all current on 13.1, and everything is fine. Have you even tried booting into recovery mode? Does it boot at all? I mean, what. is. going. on. And what's the deal with Airline food?!?

Mate, I hear you, but Macs aren't like iOS devices. You can always roll back to Monterey. 12.6.2 still works great!
