I ordered a Gold XS Max 256 GB Friday morning around 8am ET via T-Mobile.com and was able to get free 2-Day Shipping as an option. I was charged on Tuesday, and just received my tracking number. Delivery is set for tomorrow.

Good luck everybody!

I pre-ordered online 2 am Friday morning from the t-mobile website after being unable to log into the apple website. I was able to snag a XS max 256gb gold with a delivery date of 9/21 to my apartment in Chicago.

Everything seemed to go smooth in till Monday morning when I got a text from bank for a fraud alert.

I called T-mobile right was and was able to sort it all out, and the assured me that I would not lose my place in line and that as long as the charge goes trough I should get the phone on 9/21

Yesterday I checked my account and saw my device is "Kept on hold", I read on here that is t-mobile catch all status for any account with billing issues.

Today I read on here that a few users with the "Kept on Hold" were able to call the 611 line and get their tracking numbers.

I just got off the phone with t-mobile about 5 min ago, according to them everything is looking fine. My credit card was processed and everything looks good on their end, but they don't have a tracking number yet. They say I should get a tracking number tomorrow.

Any one else have a similar issue? Any one else not get a tracking number yet?

During the iPhone 7 plus fiasco, I spoke with someone from John Legere's Office of the President reps and they were able to credit $150 for charging me for next day shipping when I didn't receive it until the following Tuesday. I tried doing the same on my fiance's preorder and they said "I noticed they credited you already $150 for your first preorder and unfortunately cannot credit past that amount." So it is possible to try and get more, just an FYI for everyone else.

Back in the day they'd credit an entire month’s bill if they made a mistake.

So I think thats that, T-mobile royally screwed us this year. I have two iPhones on order, both have origin scans now and the dates changed to Wednesday next week.

Make sure you guys tweet at them and include John Legere. This is totally out of sync with their "un-carrier" ethos of doing right by their customers. They make a big hoopla about pre-ordering the iPhone with them but then create this ridiculous policy of only including next day Air via their app. No warnings. I can't even use their app or website to upgrade with the business account I have so there was no way for me to comply.

To add to the inconsistency I ordered two watches as well and they for some reason DID get next day air.

What a disgrace. When you call up make sure you demand them to put on a bill credit towards your phone deposit amount. That way you are more likely to get a higher compensation (I got $120.)

Where are you located?

As much as I want to believe it, I honestly don't know about this... A lot of people in the Southwest are getting delivery dates of 9/24-26. The reddit page is full of people getting those dates as well. Those with ground getting 9/21 delivery are those that live really close to the distribution center. Maybe the Note 9 was luck...? I honestly don't know, but now I'm no longer hoping for the best

Fortunately for me and unfortunately for others, I'm a hour from Louisville.

So to recap I ordered as soon as preorders went live. JOD so had to call in. Was not given shipment options. They apparently gave me ground. Just got origin scan. Showing 9/22 delivery. A day late. Could be worse but I’m still pissed. They could have let me know the options.

Where are you located? I'd be okay with Saturday delivery...

Really not trying to brag at all here. Ive been following this thread since preorder day. I placed my preorder for a Space Grey Max 64gb at like 10pm eastern time because i didnt feel like staying up late this year. Just got my tracking info a few minutes ago from tmobile on facebook. Was very surprised to see that it will arrive tomorrow and also has already left kentucky. I do feel bad for yall that stayed up late and arent getting them tomorrow :/

I ordered my phone on Monday and I’m getting it on Friday(according to UPS). I’m happy about that, but it seems a lot of people who ordered before me are getting theirs later, which is ridiculous. At this point I’m calling it the luck of the draw.

Do you have ground shipping?

This isn’t true. You can refuse the shipment and it will go right back to T-Mobile and you will be refunded in full.

It’s not yours until you sign for it. That’s why you have it held at UPS and don’t let them drop it at your door.

Nothing to sign so how can you refuse
[doublepost=1537477667][/doublepost]Everyone with ground shipping!!!!!

Last year I had ground shipping for iPhone 8 launch. I got it on release day. Wait till 8am on 9/21 to see what’s going on. You maybe surprised with a new delivery date

But there are others with 9/24-9/26 delivery dates already...

I think one thing is clear.. I fortunately canceled my order in time on Monday to get re-ordered with overnite, so I'll have mine tomorrow.. But I'm done with this whole business of not knowing **** as far as how much youre going to pay at 3:00 AM when you get up for a pre-order or what method your rep is randomly going to decide to ship, or any multitude of other inaccurate info that you cant rely upon by these reps.. I'm just going to do the Apple route from now on.

Mine shows an estimated arrival of the 26th, and its still in KY. I highly doubt it will magically appear in Phoenix over night.

To those of you with issues relative to shipping times - contact the office of the president.

A few years ago I had some hiccups with the wrong device being pre-ordered on my behalf (he placed the order for a regular phone, not a plus) - and the office was great.

E-Mail John.Legere@t-mobile.com and plead your case.

Good luck!

Agreed. There was so much difference in what people were told its amazing. How is their not a company policy, that everyone on this plan pays x, and everyone on this plan pays y. How hard is that? Seems like this year was a moving target based on what rep you got on the phone or chat.

I agree totally. I wish I had had sense and done what you did because I knew something was wrong when I saw that ground shipping and she wouldn't give me a straight answer. Lots of conflicting information and no clarity.

I would do the Apple route but they require a credit check every year if you do the upgrade program and with T-mobile they at least give me the phones at the lowest price no questions asked. So I have to deal with their ever-changing incompetent system and staff.

Sigh... I had the option to do so as well, but when I asked if I should here, many said not to... When I started to realize that I probably won't be getting it on time, the phone was pushed to 10/03 :(
