For what it's worth

I preordered my iPhone 6+ 64GB (Gold) on Friday, the 12th, at 10AM. I never got an EIP. They couldn't resend me my EIP, nor could they cancel my order.

Resigned to the fact that this order was a zombie, I placed another order on 9/13 at 7AM (Pacific) for the same phone. That phone had an Estimated Delivery (with UPS ground) of 9/25 until yesterday. Now there is no delivery date.

In the meantime, I was very vocal about my concern with getting my phone on time. I'm leaving the country on Oct. 20th for 2 weeks, and am trading in a phone and getting my ETF reimbursement (I intentionally switched to T-Mobile 2 days prior to preorder) -- considering the limit is 1 week after getting new device, I wanted the 6+ before I left. I took to Twitter. I took to email. Finally, John Legere tweeted at me "send me an email pls"

I did. That night, I got an email from an EVP of Corporate Services allaying any fears I had. The next day (Saturday), a lady in his office called me and told me I looked good on the delivery date and that (and I quote) we've been in contact with our inventory people and we're confident everyone who orders a phone this weekend will get them by their estimated delivery dates. What that's worth now, I have no idea, but thought I'd throw that in there. I haven't been charged yet (for anything, not even $1.00 pending), nor have I gotten any emails from T-Mobile since, but I've spent two days reading this tread and registered just to engage.

It's maddening.
 
12 noon for a iPhone 6+ you were way too late, by several hours I'd guess. I'm telling you the iPhone 6+ was gone within like, minutes.
Then why would they even give a estimated date of 9/20 after I paid 24.99$ to get that date? Like I wouldn't care if they gave me a far out date, but in that case I wouldn't have spent the 24.99$ to get the 9/20 date. LOL makes sense?
 
iPhone 64GB Grey Jump! ordered 11:45AM Friday online. My card still hasnt been touched, not even for pre-authorization.
 
This is an email I received sunday from David Carey, EVP of Corporate Services.

It's pretty much the only thing I'm clinging to about getting my order sometime by the end of next week.

"I’ll have Art, who is working with me check your order and see what model and variant you have ordered. We are about to receive inventory in the next few days and will be matching orders to it.

Give it a couple of days and we should be able to tighten up the delivery date for you. If not by Friday it shouldn’t be too long after that."

I've attempted to follow up since then with no answer.
 
can I suggest? that we revise or input our situation in our signatures? i.e. see mine, would be lovely to correlate whatever we're saying in the post and your status constantly being in your signatures.

hope we can unite...:D if so thank you very much!

btw, no change for me, still no date in my status since the 9/17 eta got erased.
 
My $1 authorization charge dropped, and I am most likely going to bitch out T-Mobile after I get a tracking number or date or something, especially if its way after the 20th. I want my expedited shipping charge dropped or credited back, because I was 100% under the impression at check out that the phone would be in my possession on 9/20. Like I said I would understand if it was maybe the 20-26th. but anything after that? Uh nice try T-Mobile.

That's not what that means at all.

Those that made the cutoff will get the device day one. Those orders will be shipped direct from Apple to the customer in pretty much every case. If you have a shipping date, it's either because you're a JUMP customer they've processed, a business customer, or you're not getting it on day one and they're providing you with a rough estimate.

Orders will show up as technically backordered because the don't physically have the inventory in their warehouses - Apple has it. In fact for some orders, you won't get a tracking number until it's scanned in the US.

The same thing happened during black friday.

In fact, T-Mobile even acknowledges how confusing "backordered" is and plan on discontinuing using the term.
 
Reps don't know anything. This is an official statement from T-Mobile directly. No one is getting a phone on Friday or charged because T-Mobile won't have any phones until Friday everyone is so delusional. T-Mobile isn't taken care of like the big carriers

You posted a pic of the T-Mobile Help Twitter account, which is staffed by customer services reps; the same ones that take your calls.

Not making any allegations. But as a general rule, screenshot or it didn't happen.

What banks do you guys have??? I have Chase and i ordered at 4:50am on the 12th and i haven't been charged or had a hold as far as i know.

Capital One - FWIW it isnt showing as a pre-authorization charge. It says TMobile.com*Upgrade. It is pending right now, but that is normal for any charges to hold for a day or so.
 
Okay so anyone with a 6+ that's been charge, feel free to speak lol

I ordered on Friday at 4:25am PDT. I show both $1 and the cost of my 6 and 6+ preauthorized charges on my CC. Just a point of reference for others...
 
They charged my American Express for one order. I was told when I ordered at like 4am not to worry about shipping it would be delivered on the 19th.

I was lied to :(
