I joined just to respond to this message, i've been snooping and crying from laughter at you guys all day.

Does that hold any weight? This is my first time ever pre-ordering anything, so i'm really confused on when i'm supposed to get it. When I tried the Inspect Element thing it said my estimated delivery date is the 18th, is it possible to get the phone before release day? That doesn't seem like something Apple would allow.

I assume all of you are still as confused as me, so there's no possible way you guys can shed light on when I might get my phone?

I feel special. haha

I have no idea how accurate it. It's kinda one of those things were there could be numerous reasons they chose to hide the estimated delivery date on file.

It seems like a lot is changing right now so I'm sure a lot more info will be available in the next 24 hours.

Oh okay, thank you for responding!
I can't wait for more info, i'm kind of dying here.
This thread makes me feel better, at least now I know i'm not the only crazy one.

thought i'd chime in about CC charges while i see people trying to make sense of them. we ordered two iphone 6s, 16gb, on saturday night at 7:30pm PST and have already had full charges, not holds or preauths. our original delivery estimate was 10/10, so i can't imagine that charges are indicative of first-batch shipping (unless we're very lucky)

Do Tmo stores get ridiculous packed for iphone launches?

There was nobody in my T-Mobile store last year for the 5s. Arguably not as big of a launch though, as the "s" series is seen as a refinement and probably not nearly as exciting.

It seems to me that the only "sorting" mechanism that makes sense here is some type of geographical-based approach. It's clearly not based on model because I've seen 6's and 6+'s get charged now. Obviously not alphabetically either as I'd be pretty early in the list. So I'm guessing it has something to do with shipping destination.

As mentioned earlier I have both a 6 64GB Space Gray and 6+ 64GB Silver as EIP Non-Jump - received my EIP confirmation at 4:28 AM PST Friday. I've never had a charge, never had nothing. I spoke briefly to CSR rep today and he said my order was fine, but had to run for a meeting so didn't get to press on shipping.

Anyway I've seen Non-Jumpers with these models also get charges today and they ordered after me. Leads me to believe it is geographical and my zone just isn't off a pallet yet.

Who knows.

Maybe if people posted where their devices are shipping to it might help make things more clear?

Columbia, SC for me.

My parents won't let me go get one in a store Friday. I went in on my phone with them, but they will pay for more of it.
