I haven't received a text or email from them beyond my original order confirmation. (Ordered 4:25 AM PDT 9/12) My order status did change to backordered like everyone else's on Saturday/Sunday, but no notification about that other than from calling the 800 number.
I just got off the phone with what seemed like a fairly competent and informed CS agent (they are few and far between)
She confirmed that I am near the top of the list and that my order had moved from backorder to pending shipping. She said the 2 new charges I see are to make sure funds are available so they can go ahead box my order for shipment.
She ended by saying what the mass text that just went out said, that I would receive shipping info with in the next 1-2 days.
Unfortunately I am a new customer so I don't have the more detailed order status page.

I REALLY hope and pray I'm wrong, but I just spoke with 2 separate reps and both said ' 1 - 3 weeks for the iPhone 6+ orders. Update emails and texts should roll out by this evening'
My original order went thru on the 12th at 9:27 PM [ EIP electronically signed and the whole 9 yards.. ] Got the text about order received, processed, and then backordered.
Current status: Backordered 9/17/14 at 3:04 am
I'm a JUMP customer, but since I couldn't order thru JUMP on the 12th... I chose to do it W/O JUMP. Also, opted for USP Ground shipping [ yes, I'm an idiot!

So, *if* these two reps who recited the same exact dialogue [ and were from two different states LA and MO ] are to be believed... us IP6+ people are in for a bit of a wait.

Anyone with 6+ preorders on Saturday see any movement with their preorders, outside of the robot lady backorder?
I bet a bunch of outsiders checking this forum out are dumbfounded with what lengths we're taking to track our orders,

9:27pm? Thats kinda late so you may have the right time period. A lot of us on here ordered before 6am and we haven't seen much of anything for the 6+
listen up all members.. my order status is backorder on t-mobile.com i been checking ups.com all day... but just now i checked it once more and a a shipping label has been created for me.. all member should go to ups.com and track by reference using your t-mobile number also i order ground and shipping was updated to ups next day air saver
