T-Mobile.com preorder thread

Both orders were prepared and ready for pickup at the same time, yet one was left there for an extra day? I don't get it. I paid $24.99 for next day shipping and the package has been ready since 5am yesterday!

im so impatient..im going crazy..i live 3 blocks away from the main UPS storage in Manhattan..still waiting..if i get one more picture of a friend that go it delivered I'm going to flip out..

Next Day Delivery

Direct from a T-Mobile Rep (take this with a grain of salt)


"T-Mobile's agreement with UPS for Next Day shipments DOES NOT include Saturday Delivery, and there is no way to add this to a shipment".
 
For gits and shiggles, since I'm waiting for mine to arrive via UPS at home, I walked into the T-Mobile store on 3rd Avenue in NYC.

  • Retail manager confirmed they only had a line of about 10 people in the store prior to 8AM.
  • They never received any iPhone 6 Plus stock.
  • They had iPhone 6 in various colors and capacities, even 128GB. The 128GB models disappeared first.
  • A second shipment truck arrived at 11AM after the "crowd" died down.
  • Only had two people on the waiting list in the store when I arrived at 2PM ET.
  • They still have iPhone 6's in stock when I left the store, but opted not to get one, since I wanted the 6 Plus only.
  • I got confirmation that the Apple Store can process T-Mobile's EIP financing, so if the item happens to be in stock at an Apple Store, which is more likely than at a T-Mobile store, I can pick one up on the spot.

at least its out for delivery. I got the texts and emails it was coming today. No tracking. Nada my friend
 
Whatever. This sucks. I should have waited to port my number because they are going to new customers? I'm out.

Yeah couldn’t agree me and have been vocal of the same thing for over a year.

Tmobile needs to invest in updating their entire ordering platform and backend systems.

I literally tried to order from 2am onwards, and placed my order once Apple.com finally came up.

Wait, What?! I tried to order from Apple.com, but the only options were AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. I SO wish I could have ordered from :apple: I've never had an issue ordering from Apple, but trying to order from T-Mo has been the absolute worst customer experience I've ever had.
 
calling apple trying to fix my apple order and they're playing "call me maybe" thanks for the salt in the wound :apple:
 
Still waiting -- now regretting not ordering them directly from Apple. Could have easily bought 10-20 of them and resold them to pay for my own.

I'm leaving for a business trip early next week so I really hope my phones come in Monday. The CellSpot router I ordered yesterday is coming in Monday, and that's even via UPS Ground!

Its just as bad, I ordered from apple AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and I ended up with a October Delivery, thats why i went with Tmo

Yes, I just took it out the phone went to T-Mobile.com/sim and switched it over. Easy. Took two min.
 
Finally charged...

Was charged 50 mins ago by T-mobile. iPhone 6 Plus Gray 16GB. This was after the director of tmobile contacted me via email telling me they will follow up my order

I DID order from apple, not shipping until october and I ordered 5am eastern last friday(the first time t-mo customers could order)

Same exact thing happened to me. Mine canceled yesterday. I actually paid for my mother's phone as well and that just shipped out today no issues except them having 2 pending charges for it on hold on my account. I actually went and placed another order yesterday and when I check it online says it's processing and will be delivered by Wednesday. So placing another order might not be such a bad idea.

me too I was charged 50 mins ago. I think it might be too late to receive today, but I hope it comes tomorrow seeing that some people are getting Saturday delivery...

I was offered Saturday (the 20th) delivery for $25 when trying to order from T-Mo over the phone. Being a cheapskate, I opted for the free 2-4 day shipping instead, but today (friday the 19th) I have an overnight UPS package from T-mobile that's "out for delivery", so "zero-day" shipping for free:D, go figure….

I'm hoping that iPhones get delivered on Saturday anyways considering the sheer volume of iPhones sitting in UPS warehouses and the need to keep things moving rather than end up with a giant pile of iPhone packages for Monday.
