So I've been trying to cancel for the last few days, I've asked them via live chat, phone, twitter and email to cancel.

Low & behold I receive tracking info today.. UPS Ground, so there goes the upgrade, either way I've been in touch with James on the executive team and as I'm porting to AT&T on Tuesday he's trying to have the package intercepted and returned en route. I said I know at least one person on Mac Rumors who would be happy to receive this same phone earlier so go for it please. (6+ 64GB, sg)

James seems like he is helpful, to have to get to the office of the president to get in touch with someone who is helpful is a bit crazy. He got into how their back end wasn't prepared to handle the amount of customer volume, I told him in this day and age with so many services that provide load balancing and spawning servers based on demand they really need to upgrade for next year. We are talking about a company that provides mobile LTE coverage to millions of people this shouldn't be a stretch.

For my fellow iPhone fans, I really hope they do.
 
I got a text Wednesday saying I would receive news on a ship date the next one or two days... Yesterday night I got a text saying they'll ship mine out when the get new inventory...

Talk about a debacle. Still no update, period. CSR pretty much told me "We know what you know. Good luck"

This has been a terrible experience. Never again through T-Mobile, EIP or not. I'd rather pay cash up front to have it handled professionally than this wait and see BS.

The T-Mobile rep has no idea why they canceled my order. I'm pretty much SOL. I ordered the same thing. If you could get that phone to my order, I would be soooo grateful.
 
I have now had more texts and emails for my cellspot router, ordered this morning, than I have for my phone.

How many of you got the 9/22-9/30 text/email, no CC charge(full), nothing from UPS(even track by reference), used JUMP online in the AM on the 12th, your myTmobile page says "backordered", and robochick says "your order is being processed, but not yet available for shipping"?

I'm in this boat but I ordered in the afternoon in store.

right? I'll take first available ;) I never did get the your order is prioritized text after not getting the phone yesterday as previously told - but was told by exec team I was in the first priority group. Sure doesn't feel like it...:confused:
 
Just spoke with "reiner V" on the tmo chat.. gave me the same copy and paste paragraph about one or two days.. I just signed off.

6+ 64g SG ordered on 9-12 at 9:45AM in store. Received email for Sep 22-30; but nothing else. CC charged on Thursday. No one knows anything about the order. Truly disappointing for a new Tmo customer. I am so glad that I ordered the same 6+ from Apple at 5:30AM on 9-12; since I have had my tracking number for it since Thursday and it will be here on Tuesday. I keep the first one that arrives.
 
order from T-mobile or apple store?

I am only now deciding to order an iphone 6, 64GB. and I will use it on T-mobile.

I know I will have a substantial wait, well into October.

Will it be faster deliver to order from T-mobile or direct from the apple store?
