So I have been auditing forums here and on the tmobile site to try to see if I can see some pattern or figure out when I *might* expect my phone.

Ordered 9/17 at 12:22 p.m in store with Jump!
iPhone 6Plus Gold 64 GB
Status: 'Being Processed'

Girl who placed my order in the store said it could take up to 8 weeks for delivery but they were filling orders on a first come, first serve basis based on availability of color/model. I have seen a lot of people posting about ordering the SG 6Plus 64G but not many with the Gold. Has anyone received a Gold 6Plus 64GB??

Also, this may be a stupid question, but I read that they were only offering the priority for Jump! customers who ordered before the end of 9/13. Does Jump! matter if you ordered after then? And even if it doesn't, shouldn't those who order the same phone after you still receive it after? Seems like something fishy is going on here...
I ordered on the 19th and got my phone today

Man I'm seeing a ton of orders that were placed for the Unicorn on September 19th being fulfilled and shipped...I haven't seen any changes on my account since I ordered one myself on 9/19...what's up with that? Especially since it seems as though they haven't even fulfilled preorders. I feel like it's a lottery.

Order Details
Iphone 6 Plus SG
ORDER DATE: 9/19
Card charged: none
Status: being processed
EIP: yes
JUMP:yes

So uh, maybe it was all the anticipation, but I'm not too impressed with my unicorn. It's just... bigger, that's all. Also, I'm going to drop it, I'm sure of it -- a little too big to handle comfortably. Maybe I'll get used to it. Just happy to have it for now.

With news that the Verizon Iphone 6/6+ come fully unlocked, has anyone in this thread given up on getting a t-mobile phone and gotten a VZ phone. Since t-mobile doesn't subsidize, getting a VZ phone at full retail would be the same.

I'm thinking of going this route since t-mobile iphones are impossible to find here..just wondering if anyone has had issues with a t-mobile sim in a VZ phone.

You'd have to find one in store first. Can't buy a full price VZW device on the Apple Store website.

FYI to anyone who has been let down by TMO on this and hasn't already been connected to the "ERT". Promised time frames that weren't delivered, etc. None of the reps will tell you this:

Send an email to this address (CEO of t-mobile):

john.legere@t-mobile.com

Include your phone number, order number, and any other applicable info you have (acct#, tmobile #, etc).

Give a brief run down if the mess you've been put through and how frustrated you've been. I suggest sticking to the point and leaving out the f-bombs.

Your message will be forwarded on to an "executive response team" (ERT). You'll get a call back from an executive team member. They will sound much different from your typical low-paid, low-trained phone rep. They will have already looked into your account. Provide you with an update on status, if there is one, apologize profusely if there isn't, tell you how valued you are, yadayada, AND THEN offer you bill credit of one months service as compensation for your trouble. This seems to be standard offer for all customers referred to the ERT, regardless of your bill amount, if you have one line only, that will be covered, 5 lines with $300/mo bill, that is what you'll get.

While this probably won't make a difference in how soon you actually receive your phone(s), unless there are extenuating circumstances causing special delay in your order, it's a decent compensation that other carriers don't seem to be offering (yes, probably because they haven't screwed up as bad as TMO).

***One caveat, this is being done because they know that their PRE-ORDER system was a cluster-f#&. If you didn't preorder, and are just being impatient because your phone that was backordered when you first made the order last week, I don't know that this will work for you***

My understanding is that the T-mobile phones are backordered for at least 6 weeks even on Apple.com.

I see, this makes more sense. I was told though that you can show up in the morning and apple will sell you any providers iphone 6 for full/nonsubsidized price.

Someone in my family *does* have a VZ upgrad that they have no interest in using, so this may still be a viable option for me.

By the way, my status:

6+ SG 64GB ordered 9/15 (after cancelled orders submitted in the 12th)

Status: Being Processed (unchanged since order placed, no backorders, etc)

No movement at all, No CC charges, no UPS tracking by reference, nothing.

Was excited to see all the 64GB SG pluses seeing status changes/charges early today, but nothing as of 8pm PST. Jealous of all you. ERT did finally acknowledge to me that they have discovered preorders that are being processed out of order, are working on short term and long term fix. I also got the 1 month bill credit, which was over $200 on my family plan so that's nice.

Negative not with apple

Just curious, is anybody planning on getting the apple watch?

Yes I am, but no preorder. Something like that I'll need to get my hands on first and determine which model and wrist band I want...might be a couple months after release but that's ok. It will be interesting to see if they sell or not, I'm doubting this is something that Tmobile would sell but who knows.

What up fam just registered, first post.

Ordered a 6+ 64g SG on the 13th but it didnt go through so I redid on the 14th.

Been lurkin this thread since then.

Finally got charged today and called robo bitch and she said it shipped today.

Never thought this day would come :)

First iphone coming from a note 2.

Good luck to everyone still waiting hope you guys get yours asap.

Bless up.

Congrats! You'll love it. I've used iPhones up until this year when I switched over to the Note 3 because of the larger screen. While there is a lot to like about that phone and OS, I'm quite ready to get back to iOS. It just works better for the way I use my phone...

----------

has anyone who got charged today received any tracking info yet?

I have not yet, was charged around noon today.

----------

Well I tried to hold out with my 5S but finally caved in today. iPhone 6 128GB Space Grey on order. We'll see how long it takes.

I have a feeling you'll be getting that one pretty quickly, I've heard the 128GB models are more in stock.

----------

I'm never getting my IPhone 6+.... This thread makes me cry

You'll get it...time just moves at a different pace when waiting for an iPhone...this will all soon be a distant memory.

If you haven't already, go to the Apple store and slip on the leather case. You'll be amazed at how much better it feels in your hand. I was there on the weekend and a person there let me put theirs in a leather case and it felt wonderful, so much so that I bought one on the spot. Now I just need a phone to put it in...

Also, don't forget that rockin' camera. The video stabilization is fantastic as well..

I was really excited about all the Apple watch rumors, hype. I love the concept if smartwatches and been following the ones from other manufacturers, waiting for Apple to come along and blow up the category with their design superiority.

HOWEVER, as much as I want to like it, I think it is hideous! Not what I was expecting from apple. Looks way to bulky, oddly shaped, just plain ugly. I realize this may be a matter of personal preference, but I just envisioned something amazing design/style - wise from Apple. I think the iPod Nanos with the Lunatic Watches are better looking.

I don't think TMO is getting enough credit for doing this. I got $250 for my month's bill and they didn't have to do that at all. They could just blame Apple and say demand is much higher than anticipated and they are at the mercy of the supplier. Instead they owned up to some missteps and are providing real money as a compensation. I've said before, try getting that from AT&T, at best you'd get a $25 credit.

You might feel differently once you get your hands on it. I can't wait...

Completely agree. I'm the kind of guy that doesn't hesitate calling in to service providers to negotiate deals and complain when I have poor quality service. I get offers, credits and special deals all the time, but it is not often you can get this amount of compensation and acknowledgement of mistakes on such a large scale. Unheard of from telecoms, satellite TV, cables companies, etc.

Doesn't erase how badly this was botched, or even the continued mess of inconsistencies in communication from TMO reps, but impressive IMO.
