T-Mobile.com preorder thread

Had a long conversation with my ERT this morning. He credited me another month's bill, which now makes it three months worth in total. I wasn't bitchy or mean. The opposite, in fact. But I had sent an email last night to all ERT's that I didn't appreciate being taunted with moving delivery dates.

What was very interesting is that he said the estimated delivery dates we are seeing are based on the stock that arrived that day. Since they are receiving stock every day, if they get a huge order in one day, that'll move everyone up in their shipping dates. If they get a real small order, it'll push people back. Hence why I'm now estimated for the 18th instead of last Monday. Basically, dates can change rapidly and it just depends on the stock they receive.

I ordered mine on 09/19 and all keep hearing from t-mobile is it is on backorder. Status has been order processing since the 19th. and it can take up to 6 weeks. As of tomorrow it will be 4 weeks waiting for me. I had actually preordered the phone on the 12th and t-mobile screwed up and sent me a iphone 6 which I'm not returning until they send me the right phone! I'm using the 6 but I want my 6+ dam it! I haven't seen anyone posting on here saying they received this one

I think I read about one of them in this entire thread. Mine is nowhere in sight, ordered early on the 12th. Wish I had a 6 to use until they send my freaking phone lol. In agreement it's really sort of a unicorn itself.
 
Ordered Yesterday

Well Ordered my iPhone 6+ (Unicorn) 128GB Space Gray yesterday and it showed before I finalized the order: Estimated Ship Date: 10/15.

Current wait time for a TMob 64Gb iPhone 6 (4.7-inch)

Hi, what is the current average wait for an unlocked (no contract) T-Mobile iPhone 6 with 64Gb? Also, which one ships faster, the white or space gray color? Is it faster to order through Apple or through T-mobile? I am asking because I have a foreign trip planned and I want to see if I can get the phone before the trip. Thanks a lot in advance!

There isn't much of a wait at all on the regular 6. I'd say maximum of 4-7 days.

All T-Mobile phones are locked if you buy it through T-Mobile. Their unlock policy is that you have to atleast pay for half of the phone's cost and the phone has be active on their network for at least 40 days. If you want an unlocked T-Mobile phone for travel, I would suggest you buying direct from Apple Store. Those come unlocked.

I ordered iPhone 6 64GB Gold, and iPhone 6 64GB Silver.
Ordered on 9/29/13. Order Status shows Silver in stock as of last night and reserved in warehouse but won't ship until all items are in stock.
The status on Gold shows it is waiting to come into warehouse and should be shipped on, or before, 10/17.

You're not alone, I'm still waiting on mine as well. Ordered the exact same model on September 14th (last day of pre-order weekend) and haven't even been charged yet. It says Backordered 09/28/2014 and estimated ship date is on or before 10/26/2014..

Well I had an interesting 72 hour call today! No news on my 128 silver plus, but we put in an order for a 128 sg plus.

So the silver was ordered on sept 12th, and the sg on 10/9. We'll see which one gets here first. We both put bets on the sg. If I like the sg I can keep it, we'll cancel the silver, or I just send it back if the silver ever shows.

I feel a little bit better now, because the silver still shows a hopeful 6 week wait. The sg was updated to 7-10 days. At least in the 128 version.

Also got a credit for the cell spot router, which I appreciate.

Now, back to waiting!

Where did you get that estimate from for the space grey 128 plus?
 
you guys dont even have to read this...i just wanted to vent

so this dumbfk 611 lady, first lied to me that my 6+ would come 10/7 last week, then paid off 75% on one of my EIP equipment and then placed an EIP order for a regular 6 for me last Friday telling me I'd get the 6 by the end of this week. Then told me I can trade in my iPhone 4 at a retail store.

let's see what exactly went right with all the items I asked...
1) no iPhone 6+ today
2) 75% paid off on the wrong line
3) iPhone 6 order canelled
4) retail store won't take the phone

And now the iPhone 4 trade in price dropped. Thanks Lady.

At least get one thing right for me...jfc
 
So Apple iPhone 6 128GB Space Gray ordered on 10/1 is still just showing backordered. Card not charged yet or anything. Email from T-Mobile last week promised shipping on or before 10/10 so we'll see.
