my order page still says :

Back Ordered 09/30/2014 at 03:00:14 AM

under order status:
Status: Awaiting more iPhone shipments from Apple. Expected ship date on or before 11/10/2014

BLAH!!!

Welp, I guess I just jumped back into the fray with another order. What was I thinking??

Just got a 64 GB Gold 6 for the wife as a surprise--hopefully she'll get it by Christmas lol! The rep I spoke with gave me a 6 week estimate, but maybe it'll be less than that. Oh well--at least they let me charge the down payment to my account so I'm not paying now for a device that will be in hand sometime near December.

Not sure what "pending shipping" means. . .

Ordered my phone on Monday night. Status on TMO site says "backordered" and "pending shipping".

Which one is it? Am I looking at 3 - 4 weeks?

iPhone 6 S.G. 128 GB ordered on TMO site on Monday evening, Oct 20th.

Interesting ERT call today

I had originally ordered 3 iPhones. I received them, but shipped 2 back because I wanted 2 of the phones to be 6 64 Gold and 6 64 Silver.
These 2 new phones were ordered 9/30. My original order was 9/19.
He said he will now be calling every 72 hours. He also credited me some to my account for my patience. I was very happy with the amount. This is the 2nd adjustment credit they've done.
I told him the shipping dates were like a yo-yo.
He asked me if I noticed that most all the dates were changed to 11/24 a little bit back. He said that was due to a glitch in their system so they went through every order, looked at the order dates, when the shipments of phones arrive each day, quantity, etc. He said the dates that are in the system are pretty accurate within +/- 2 days. That my new shipment date of 10/27 that's been in the system a few days should be accurate. It was nice to get an explanation that seemed believable.

so got a call from another ERT today and he is giving me a credit of $100 (my deposit) so ill end up paying taxes only ... nice little surprise

I got the same call a few minutes back... Except I already had the down payment taken care off, so it's another monthly bill credit. I'm pretty pleased with T-Mobile. I got a loaner 6+ 16gb, 3 months credit, and no down payment. Cant't be more happier!:D

TMO Chat

The online rep says that my iPhone 6 128 GB (space gray) will ship 4-7 days from order date. I ordered the thing Monday evening and he's saying it should ship during the coming week.

I hope that is actually true. . . .

Yeah.... ummmm, no. (T_T)

Good luck, you are looking at 4 to 6 weeks before shipment...

iPhone 6 16 gb space gray

I ordered the iphone 6 16 g space gray on 10/14. It has been on backorder ever since 10/15. Any news on how long it takes this iphone to ship? I thought this iphone was shipping the fastest?

My ship date is exactly six weeks from order date......sigh. I was told 4-6 weeks just in case. But the CSR said it would likely be two weeks...

Today, I got a call from a T-Mobile rep telling me that my order was cancelled because the phone is currently backordered and in order for them to keep my order active, they would need to keep running my credit every 3 days to refresh the order. Since I don't have an active account, they said it is impossible to do it any other way.

So what are my options here? Simply to wait? Or was the explanation they gave me BS? Anyone else had this problem?

Why not just buy the phone rather than finance it? That should eliminate the credit check issue. I am switching from AT&T and bought from the T-Mobile site and just paid for the entire phone upfront (well, I will when it ships) rather than doing the financing.

Sad thing is, from my experience and reading here, the CSR's don't seem to really know very much at all. The ERT's seem to have a better handle on the situation.

Ummm...because most people don't have that kind of cash to throw down all at once

if only we can some how get a hold of ERT cause i agree CSR don't Control much and just tell you to wait it out and apologize.

Here's what happened when my ERT called:

Nothing. Absolutely nothing. She said that my order had slipped to the 28th since they ran out of inventory before they could ship my order. This whole experience has been total BS. Now, you may be thinking, "Tekjams, it's only one more week. Deal with it".

Obviously I have no choice but to deal with it. But when I was told a WEEK ago that it was ready to ship and now having to wait another week... it just pisses me off. I have gotten so used to not seeing any activity with my order, that I won't be the least bit surprised if nothing happens on the 28th. I just hope next year Apple will be able to process jump orders. That's the end of my rant.
