I love my black element sector 5 case, but I really kinda want to switch to a white phone this time around. Still, not anxious to spend another $150 on another case.

My mother's boss, may they both rest in peace, started his business out of the trunk of his car and grew it into 3 plants in two states. It afforded him the ability to purchase a new Lincoln Continental luxury car every year. My mother purchased a couple of his hand-me-downs over the course of her working with him for so many years. I bet the auto-workers who put the car together were appreciative of his yearly purchase!

Why do you think one shouldn't purchase the latest and greatest every years be it cars or iPhones, if they have the means?

Mostly sheer envy. If you think this is bad, the Mother of all MacRumors Bitch Fests start when the new Mac Pro starts to ship. I predict there will be three camps of dung throwing monkeys for this.

1) Those complaining that there are no PCI slots when you can easily pick up a PCIe box and connect it via Thunderbolt.

2) Those bitching it is too expensive and are envious of anyone that can afford it.

3) Those complaining about the look and lack of bright lights and it can't run 68K legacy Macintosh apps.

I'll have a fun time reading and replying to them on my new Mac Pro as I run the iOS Simulator alongside my web browser.

I don't think that anyone has ever suggested that the Mini Mac Pro (AKA Trashcan) won't adequately run a web browser. ;)

To all of you have absolutely need to have every single model of iPhone. Why do you do something with your life.

Actually smart consumers are he ones who constantly sell and upgrade. Contrary to popular belief, hanging on to an old phone typically means double and triple paying fr it. Do the math

T-Mobile employee blackout? Maybe needed for ATT or Verizon, but T-Mobile, does anyone think that's a necessity?

Those users of previous iPhones, what size do you think is most popular? 16, 32, 64? Has anyone had regrets that they wish they got the next size up?

What's the prevailing favorite color?

Why would it not be a necessity for them? They moved a ton of the iPhone 5, five months after its initial release.

I'd say that shows that T-Mobile subscribers are pretty enthused about the iPhone.

I did. Now I can do this.

Unless you're asking "Why do you do something with your life", as written, in which case the answer is "To have all the toys".

Keep us informed.

I'm waiting to see if the screen is any bigger or I'm selling my iPhone 5 on ebay and getting the Galaxy Note 3 which is being announced on Sept. 4th.

A black-out for what reason? I guess its part of the hype.

Its not a novelty release, its an update of the existing iPhone 5. I doubt that there will be long lines of customers waiting to get their hands on a 5s or 5c.

blackout vs. new hire

Its funny how a mobile phone dictates our daily life. Goes even so far that it dictates when you can go on vacation or not.
I guess we talk about call agents and so on. Why not hire some temporary people, let them pay their taxes etc. I guess Im not enough businessman to understand this.

I understand it. Just like any other business, certain things or events throughout the year that requires full staffing.

Not quite. Million of people are ending their 2 year contract on their iphone 4s. For them, this release is a big spec jump.

I love these characters.

The screen won't be bigger, so hurry up and buy your samsung tomorrow. Good luck scrolling down this page on your new phone. The lag is going to keep you busy for a while.

I wonder why everything seems to have leaked about the 5S except the home button/fingerprint sensor. Any thoughts?

I think there are a *few* things Apple is keeping completely underwraps until the announcement.

All the more reason why I wonder if many of these aren't 'controlled leaks' or 'teasers' maybe, with Apple deciding what gets leaked, and what stays under wraps.

My 4s contract ends on the 27th. It is still in good shape so I may wait for the iPhone 6.

What MacRumors says:
While MacRumors has heard reports of a September 20 blackout date for T-Mobile employees, reports from AT&T and Verizon employees have been conflicting, with some citing an October blackout period.
